  5. None equally.. unless progressive falls under the psytrance category Then psytrance only.
  6. just put a midi note of a drumsound on every 16th note and shuffle them a bit (timing) and work with velocity of the notes until you get something you are happy with...
  7. puremagnetik Maybe there, otherwise I guess you could program it yourself. It might be easier in the end. In stead of looking for this sample for ever. Just take a drumhit and program it really quickly and don't forget to quantize.
  8. Did you ever look at that cover? its weird!!! And shit it is indeed whaaaa
  9. 30 tracks is quite alot to finish in one year.. Are they really finished? To get a little more response to your request it might help to upload it to soundcloud or a similar site so people don't have to download it. Listening to 'some vision for the future' now. The start is a little abrupt. Could do well with a nice intro. The bass is pretty ok. Could maybe be a little bit louder. But I am listening on really crappy speakers, so it is not easy to judge. The sounds all do have their own place. But there arent that many so that isnt too difficult yet. I must say i can't really find a story to the sounds yet. They are still a little 'on their own' so to say. Not coherent enough. I am also missing some hihats, but that might be a matter of taste. What always works well is to take a track you really like and dissect it totally. See what happens where to reach which effect in the track. Also I think you could add some more automation to the instruments to keep them interesting through the track. Overal the sound is pretty good actually and i like the individual sounds. But you could still do some more work on the arrangement I think! Keep em coming! Good luck.
  10. that bass sounds pretty good to me. Find a kickdrum that suits it and you can continue i'd say.
  11. this one is also pretty damn bad...
  12. Hey there, a couple of short comments for you: the leads are a little to high in volume. Take them back a little and you'll be able to hear the kick and bass better during the track. Also they drown the hihats. So maybe eq some of the high freq's out. But taking the volume back a little might already be enough. Also the bass could have a little more body i think. The sound is still a little muddy. Did you put some distortion on it already? Not a bad track, but I still find it a little difficult to figure out the 'story' in the track. And maybe add some kickdrums in the first breakbeat section as well to give it some more spice. Good luck!
  13. Don't see any arrogance in Veracohr's post.. but definitely looking out for this one! The book is highly recommended as well!
  14. don't dig the new nasa too much to be honest. but some other releases are really nice: Ritmo- Archive 9 flegma & nerso- opposite ovnimoon- geometric poetry suntree- inside va destinations 2 va- beat generation 2 va- tales of fall mute album minoru album klopfgeister- sun flavoured
  15. LMAO send him a youtube video of duvdev and ask him if he is sure about rapping over trance
  16. dark: cosmo? mubali? naked tourist?
  17. I don't think wrecked machines in general is very progressive but i don't know this track. I would personally go more for scs indeed or some vibrasphere, ticon, atmos or ace ventura.
  18. Funny how opinions can differ. I thought this release could actually be left alone quite easily. Only two tracks are good on this one. The track by infinity, who is doing a very good job recently, is very nice. Although the break is a little too long. And the symphonix track which rocks. But the others are nothing special in my humble opinion. The Protonica track is decent though. I might think too much from a dj perspective. But most tracks arent really that powerful.
  19. the sesto sento rmx is just as BAD... haha
  20. You can use alot of different software to make music. It depends on the way you want to work. The most popular are: cubase, abelton, logic and fruity loops. Don't forget to read the isratrance forum for a lot of information about production. It is best to read it well before you ask any questions. Because most questions you have in the beginning are already asked and answered (like this one). Good luck!
  21. Or it is made by the same artist.. D-Fuzion according to the total eclipse cover. The other one isnt on discogs yet and i am too lazy to search for it.
