  1. Some additions to my collection mania, sometimes I just need to get everything from that artist... Orbital - Work 1989 - 2002 Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy Spacetime Continuum - Sea Biscuit Spacetime Continuum - remit recaps The Orb - Bicycles & Tricycles Amon Tobin - Verbal Remixes & Collaborations Ambulance - The Curse of Vale do Lobo Nightmares on Wax - Carboot Soul (front cover is missing though... anyone out there?)
  2. I dont think Tim minds a DP
  3. The Amorphous Androgynous - A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind Number 1, ladies and gentlemen.
  4. Tim Healy RULES maybe not too psychedelic (but who knows what that actually means for music...) but rocking as hell! Havent been jumping up and down like this on psy for years and years!
  5. how many adds do you get? Are they popups or actual adds like on the radio?
  6. progressive... ot: how come there is so many goaheads here? it's not goanews.org now is it?
  7. check threads about your laptop and soundcards (google), because often certain laptops don't work nicely with certain soundcards. Audiophile 2496 is an option, but i had loads of problems with it. Tc electronic konnekt 8 is also a nice option although a little more expensive. Try reading the isratrance forum as well about it.
  8. There is alot of good progressive that is slower than fullon and really nice to dance to. Check psyshop.com. Check the next labels: iboga records spin twist records iono music echoes flow records Some of those albums are very similar in tempo as guetta for example.. more the 127-135 range
  9. capsula: very nice trippy album and not much after that..
  10. do you want specifically these sounds or are any arcade game sounds ok?
  11. thats pretty good comment aeros! also i would add try to make the bass patch a little fatter, maybe by adding an extra oscillator that is an octave lower and/ or by adding some distortion to it. That usually fattens it up a little as well. the sounds continue way too long to stay interesting. What you could do is take a track you really like insert it in your DAW and simply try to copy the arrangement. Don't worry too much about using the same sounds. but do try to copy the structure. You can learn alot from it. And indeed the percussion needs alot more additions to make em interesting. good luck!
  12. cant believe i would ever be actually interested again in riktam and bansi... but i ll check it out for sure =)
  13. ok for exchanging and remixing tracks i understand. But just handing out some midifiles for standard baselines is not my cup of earl grey i guess...
  14. can you post some examples of the sound? or the game it self? if its old, you might find an 8bit music forum to be of use. (people making music with gamesboys etc)
  15. i get what they are used for, just surprised people actually use it. basslines are pretty much as easy as it gets in psytrance (midi wise). So why do you also need those midi files? You might then just as well ask for a whole DAW track structure with all files, presets, samples and automation info.
  16. if its just the first 2 minutes its not as important as the rest. Sometimes you just need to leave a track for a while, continue with something else. Or just finish it and accept not every track is as you want it to be. It s not the end of the world.
  17. couldnt find any subs yet.. which is strange. Luckily my german is good enough to understand most of it.
  18. sylenth is a nice sounding synth.. and albino. What is most important though is that you can find your way around a synth easily. That you find the vsti easy to work with. And that it sounds good. So download some trial versions and have a go with them.
  19. if they are your samples or free to distribute, yes you can. If they were taken from somewhere else without permission no you can't.
  20. Orchestrated versions of classic game theme songs. Oh yeah. Childhood memories man... these tracks bring a smile to my face Super Mario theme song. The Bad Plus perform Aphex Twin's Flim Fucking ace.
