  1. Oh yeah, both were great!! Maybe I should get a boxset to rewatch them.
  2. I don't know but putting yourself on a pedestal becuase you listen to the right kind of music sounds kinda absurd to me. Lots of psy does no longer sound unique to me, instead it sounds like genereic massproduction. Sure there are gems if you care to dig into it but listening to psy (or any other style) does not make you a more original or better person. What you listen to is simply your taste, nothing more and nothing less.
  3. I liked Tom & Jerry and also the Hanna Barbera stuff. But I really loved Dr. Snuggles, Once Upon a Time … Man (a French series about the history of mankind), Alice in Wonderland (a cartoon series from Japan) and Senior Rossi. A bit later also Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, Looney Tunes, Dexter's Lab and the Baby Muppets.
  4. I'm quite familiar with Fractal Records. I don't own that many albums but I've been to thier parties a few times. The first two parties I've been to were really great, awesome decoration and very friendly people. At the first party they were playing fast but very psychedelic full-on (SA style, but not only). On the second party the full-on floor was rather lame (very fast but not psychedelic) but the prog floor was awesome. Unfortunately they style changed during the last two years and the last parties were rather boring. Only fast and pushing full-on/dark/whatever which was not psychedelic at all. It's a matter of taste of course but they did have awesome music in the past so maybe my expectations were too high.
  5. I can somewhat identify with the remark about the music is not being very psychedelic and the part about the DJ-names is funny. The chatter about the guests is rather boring if you ask me. Considering how most of the dancers look like at parites he picked the rather normal looking guys you would also meet at a regular rave. Not that funny if you ask me.
  6. Woow, that's awesome! Not so much because of the guitars (they do rock tho) but because of the rest of Music!
  7. Exactly! Then the hashtags are the problem? Will correkt the links again... Thanks for your help!
  8. Did you try the two albums by Schädelleuchten? I actually enjoy their use of live guitars. It's also not cheesy full-on but psychedelic trance. And Cosmosis live is indeed fun to watch. He is a real showman and knows how to interact with an audiecen. And his music is great too.
  9. They work for me, strange... But I changed them, and here's the general link to my profile, does this work now? http://soundcloud.com/#djnaudiophil
  10. If you are flooding a forum with lots of same threads (several recommendation threads, instead of just one for several songs for example), that's also considered spam. May I ask you a question? Do you really believe what you wrote in your last sentence? It's exactly stuff like that which makes people think you are either trolling or a fake. And I don't mean this in a mean or provocative way. Do you believe what you wrote in that last sentence without even considering that some of your behaviour and not the content of the posts might be the problem (and mind you, as I said it takes both sides, I'm not fully blaming you) some people have with you?
  11. If Rotwand had turned against you he would have banned you for spamming the forum and/or insulting people. So please stop to see yourself as a victim here. It takes both sides if people don't get along. It's not like you don't know how it works here. You still decide not to adjust and making spam topics (you call it "talking too much", people consider it spam or attention whoring), while you dislike it yourself if your own threads get spammed.
  12. That's of course an exageration but it's not rare that you get ill after a period of stress. Because of that lots of people start their holiays and fell bad while they never get ill during work time. Mainly because you can't afford to be ill.... Also other issues can make you ill. A week or two after my mum died I got hit by a fever flash that gave me a body temperature of 41 degress and was still rising. Funny enough after a night with Aspirin and vinegar packings I felt perfectly healthy again and the fever was gone.
  13. I started to fool around with CDJs around a year ago so here are some of my mixes. It's a mixture between progressive house, tech-house and techno stuff. Tech-house and progressive house (melodic but also banging stuff): http://soundcloud.com/djnaudiophil/we-are-stardust-we-are-golden Melodic prog house: http://soundcloud.com/djnaudiophil/testset-1-audiophil-barometer Tech-house, melodic techno: http://soundcloud.com/djnaudiophil/audiophil-barometer-09-05-13 There are also two older prog-psy mixes on my profile on Soundcloud. I allready posted them some time ago in the DJ sextion of psynews so maybe you've allready gave them a try. Hope you have as much fun with them as I had during the mixing...
  14. Well, if it weren't hard to recommend similar stuff then it should also be very easy to find similar stuff by just browsing through some old compilations. Since this did not help you to find simlar tracks so maybe it is actually hard to find similar stuff? Btw. it doesn't make a difference if a track is by a well-known artists or if it is on an obscure comp or not. Either people know similar stuff or they don't.
  15. I guess that was it with: You did a little bit of improvement, but considering you are several years older than when you first posted here that's not that much. I'm not saying this to put you down or anything. But you still work more or less along the same paterns than before: asking for recommendations or other stuff and getting impatient if you don't get them (not because people dont want to help but because there are few or maybe no songs that fit the description), making judgemental threads about stuff you don't know much about or simply missed some stuff (the thread about neogoa artists being poor is a good example of that, another one is the thread about etnica /pleiadians). On the plus side especially on the etnica thread you actually changed your mind after listening to some more tracks. That sure is a good thing! I still think that stuff like in the neogoa artists are poor-thread is rather annoying and prevents people from taking you seriously.
  16. Just gave it a shot: sounds very nice so far!
  17. Thanks for your open words. I read some stuff about Asperger in the internet. Quite interesting too. But it's different to hear it from a person who is actually dealing with it. I also think it's a good thing you mainly see the positive sides. Maybe that's also one of the reasons why it is not noticable unless one either knows you or the Asperger syndrome very well. Because you have it but you are not suffering from it that much (if that makes sense...).
  18. Actually a lot of artists take care by themselves for their soundcloud and facebook accounts and lots of them reply to messages or comments. At least if you don't bother them with silly stuff. If you can't find a link on his page to a special store to buy his MP3s, just try a regluar MP3 store. I can recommend beatport, they offer lots of stuff, also older songs.
  19. If you want a real quick answer I would recommend just to use Google and type in "Joti Sidhu" (or whatever else artist you like). The first entry is the link to his Soundcloud account, where you'll find links to his facebook and also other stuff. And you can get a lot of free (legal!) music there too. You have an account there, did the idea of just search for artists you like to follow them or to contact them never occur to you? (and yes, this is a serious question)
  20. A rough opal from Ethiopia
  21. Now that comes as a surprise! I didn't notice anything unusual about you at all when we met in London for the Twisted Party some years ago. Your description about acting normal surely fits then. May I ask when and how your Asperger Syndrom was discovered? I have to say I can somewhat relate to some stuff you describe (Feeling uneasy in new social situations and the likes). I always rated that as just being shy (with me but also with other People)...
  22. Well, as far as I can tell also back in the old days you had lots of people too who wanted to be as fucked up as possible at psy or goa parties. I got in the scene around 2000, through an older brother of a friend, who was djing for several years allready and was very much into the music. And who was in jail previously for selling coke, go figure... I don't doubt that Posford felt the artisctic need to reference LSD, but why can you tell that Raja Ram didn't with 1200 Mics (Posford and Ram were and are collaboration a lot so their minds might not be that far appart)? Simply because the music doesn't fit you? Don't get me wrong: liking an album or an artist is about taste so it's not like I want to make you like 1200 Mics or full-on in general. And there was and is lots of generic crap (from my point of view anyway) that gets released, but also with progressive, dark, and goa (remember the compilations from Zyx Music, World of Goa they were called if I remember right?). But from my point of view that does not make every (or even the majority) artist in that genre a soulless douche who is in it for the fame or money (or the drugs). Just because it does not fit you does not mean other people can't be in it with their heart.
  23. I have to admit that I think I'm kinda biased since I like the first two 1200 Mics albums. But I also see your point... On the other hand you do see a lot of people who are high as fuck at psy parties so the samples do fit from my point of view. Especially because a lot of the tracks are about psychedelics and not stuff like speed or coke. I also don't think that a track like LSD by Hallucinogen is that subtle about drug use. In the end if you don't like the music from 1200 Mics the drug refences obviously doesn't make it any better for you.
  24. Well, you can also find a lot of drug references in old-school goa songs so the drug-loving wannabe-image does not come from (bad) full-on alone...
  25. The Cosmosis rmx is quite nice. But I would give the old Hardfloor remix a try, now this one is even better!
