  1. decided to go back a bit.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5tzkILixa0
  2. I wonder how different Unleashed is now versus mid 90s when I got into them? The only death metal band I've seen live is DevilDriver. Got to stand right up front and was within spitting distance ! awesome concert. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4G4FcPzeIw
  3. Anyone else out there dig some Andy Moor? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_64qGgwo3mE&feature=related
  4. this is more on topic prob than lords of acid Trancesylvania 5.. This cd was my first journey into trance, in 1995. And this song I played over and over and over and.. you get the point. Anaesthetic Influx - Encephaloid Disturbance http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KFXuESMiDU
  5. the song can get stuck in your head.. for a while.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jWK2C9ZjyQ
  6. Viking metal is epic! Back in the day I listened to Unleashed. Now it's evolved into Amon Amarth. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIzC-BNLQP4 http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=AA_1kZ-p5yY
  7. Ugh Crysis. I remember that year I had just built a halfway decent PC, spent about $750 building it (for basically just case, motherboard, ram, processor, power supply and graphics card) a month later I bought Crysis (1) and couldn't hardly get that crap to run on it! Watching the intro was like watching the screen move at 7second intervals. I could finally play it when I turned the graphics down enough to make it look like Wolfenstein! That was the last year I bought PC games. So tired of having to update my computer every 6 months just to keep up with them, when all you have to do with Game Consoles is buy one and it lasts for years no matter how many new games are made. Where I live I constantly have to keep unplugging my computer before storms hit. The outlets are very prone to static. Last year it fried my computer and I had it hooked up to a decent power strip with a high joule rating. I'm telling you that stuff doesn't matter! My power supply and motherboard were fried, luckily everything else was ok. I guess it's a good excuse to get a new computer every year.. or more.. but I don't really have the $$$ to burn.
  8. I think abasio's trying to beat us all! very nice photography man!
  9. I can't really brag too much on my pc but I'll add to this thread since I'm a geek. AMD Phenom II X2 540 2GB DDR3 ATI 4200 (just onboard.. I don't need a killer graphics card anyway) 1.5 TB SATA2 HD (split into about 6 drives) LiteOn 20x DVD-RW Sony 16x DVD-RW (sometimes it reads DVDs better than the LiteOn for ripping reasons) 17" MAG flatscreen monitor I went with building something simple I don't really play games on pc anymore, just something to do internet, mess with graphics and music. I find it funny that people buy a $900+ computer and then only use it for internet. A friend of mine had me build him a killer Intel I7 with 6GB RAM a 1 TB hard drive, ATI HDMI graphics card 22" flatscreen monitor and he basically just uses it for email, facebook, messenger, and plays $20 slot machine games. WASTE OF MONEY.
  10. Yea my parents went to Radio Shack back in 1991, bought me a Tandy 1000.. basically a 286 10Mhz pc 1 Meg of ram.. funny because only 640K was accessible, DOS's himem.sys command couldn't unlock that extra 386K, because it wasn't a 386 processor! lol I spent many hours trying to figure that one out. Many of the games I played on it consisted of Dungeons and Dragons games, Secret of the Silver Blades, Hillsfar, Pool of Radiance etc.. Jetfighter II, Leisure Suit Larry 2, and Dragon's Lair II - Timewarp. It only had a 40MB hard drive on it. @Rotwang.. Just looked up Acorn and BBC Micro since I had no clue what you speak of.. Looks like it was UK's version of our Commodore Vic20, later C64/128. Or Apple's first computers. Regardless, I bet we have a lot of the same memories for those old school games and programs we used to play.
  11. I had this for years as a kid, somewhere around 1982-83. First was the basic one which had a tape player hookup that did 1/2 it's programs, the other half being a cartridge that plugged in the top (jupiter landing anyone?).. Then I got the latter version with 5 1/4 floppy drive. My dad had connections to people at his job so I was able to get tons of games for it. Eventually the drive went bad and nothing would load on it anymore.. just got the red blinking death. By then whatever I had a Nintendo and a 286 PC. I built a computer for a friend of mine the other day and he showed me his recently passed away Aunt's Commodore 64 computer which was hooked up to a 3.5 diskette drive. I was unaware that they even incorporated those into their world. There's no reason to even have this thing anymore, since c64 emulators were made and most of the games are available for it as well. For those looking to remember the old days. Better yet youtube features videos of these games being played if you just want to peek at what they were like.
  12. just hoping I fit in ok here.. With so many people and their opinions in and of the world, sometimes it's easier to stand behind the scenes and watch everyone else rather than participate.

  13. so far just found the one track on youtube.. It's an interesting track but like so many it doesn't stand out as a favorite by any means. For my taste it gets interesting from 5:40 to the end, and it's only a 7:50 minute track. What does surprise me is the price tag for 3 songs.. when you seriously can get a full length cd for $9 or $10, or order individual tracks for even 99 cents a pop (USD I mean) why would 3 songs cost over $2 each? Especially for something you'd listen to a few times and away it goes to a playlist to be heard at maybe a 30% chance a day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ISMDJAnUNU&feature=related
  14. another topic brought this band up.. many tracks of theirs dancing through my head... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-9rJMJ8pWk kinda makes one wanna wiggle, or watch someone wiggle..
  15. a slice of Garlic Bread Pizza (meat lovers) with some Sweet Tea.
  16. On a tip from Sideffect, I'm checking out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twP9wIXcoIA&feature=fvst not bad really.
  17. What I just did a while ago was watch the 2010 remake of the 1978 cult horror movie "I Spit on Your Grave". Anyone else watch this? I like the modern approach and the graphic violence was much better this time, but I think the original story was better.
  18. Interesting topic.. Without trying to be too EMO this may sum it up for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kilcsodvF6U
  19. Here's a more modern version of Amorphis style.. Kivimetsän Druidi is from Finland. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Vp6I6kRjTM not that you're looking for it.. but here it is.
  20. Amanians - D.N.A. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5PmfuGn1zg
  21. I agree, End of a Government is a decent track. I also like Alice Dream. I'm usually all about uplifting GOA, but there's just something relaxing about Progressive. Makes good "settled in the chair" tunes.
  22. so far I do.. I guess their new stuff just blows. Have you checked out the new Behemoth? I love this video.. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaZC2Llg6EA&feature=related and even more trippy, someone mixed it with a Lady Gaga Song audio and video.. It's really not that bad! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCU1mGcGn4o&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_716175
