1. thanks. I used to be big time into computer graphics.. kinda got bored with em. I still love 3d psychadelic stuff though.
2. that morning I think I was listening to a lot of System of a Down. That pic is about 2 years old back then for trance I just listened to a lot of Yahel and Infected. And possibly whatever Armin VanBuuren or Paul Van Dyk might have compiled. Hadn't discovered this wild genre known as GOA that I am lovin so well.
3. Dude your reviews are both insightful and hilarious. I'm discovering a lot of cool music here on this site.
4. here's me in Chromadepth.. (3d glasses work too)
5. Gamma Goblins is pretty cool , just heard the remix on youtube the other day.
6. I think my problem with this is.. since I've been listening to such wild stuff like Filteria and Alienapia, anything less to me sounds like video game music. However, in a different mood I could like this though. For the moment my brain is fried.
7. Mindsphere - To Infinity http://www.youtube.c...h?v=95qfv1toETc
8. I just do because I have a collection of decent stuff from them. I agree that their new stuff is too pop. Me and some friends were playing a racing game on Xbox360 and my friend popped on the (then new) Black Shawarma cd and we found it much better than the in game music.
9. DAYAMN!! I'd like to take a look through them too! Unfortunately I lost many metal cd's and tapes when I loaned them to a guy I thought was my friend and then he moved away.. never saw that bastard again. Should have known better to loan so many out at once but I was too proud to show off my collection of mostly late 80s early 90s death and black metal. I go in cycles.. trance one week, death metal a few days, a little 80s pop nostalgia, and so on and so on..
10. never heard of em.. not surprising for me. there's apparently a LOT of music out there I'm just discovering. now playing.. Amithaba Buddah - Three Eyes
11. very tribal.. visualizing dancing with a spear but then again accidentally bludgeoning everyone around me.
12. I think it just needs to be said to any artist that it's amazing what they can do.. I love this music and it's surrounding genres but personally I can't make a song to save my ass, so I have to tip my hat to those who do. People judge too harshly sometimes, and personally many of them can't make a song either, but sure can sit there and say this sucks that sucks.. whatever. and those scary album covers with the shirtless dude ugh.. reminds me of many crappy trance compilations with the big boobed girl on the cover.. Many of us have been suckered into getting those thinking wow the music must be great!! nope. Cigarette, no cigarette, person or graphics whatever.. if the music works who cares? If one wanted art they can go look at art. However I do believe in genres like death metal, one or two members smiling (without blood dripping from the smile at least) means this album is weak hahahaha! I'm giving this album a listen to right now, t.r.a.n.c.e. has a very nice flow to it. I'll have to give the rest of it a listen to later.. it's bedtime for me. -Darkpup
13. Alienapia - Magic Magnification. I freakin love this album!
14. I kinda liked the Black Shawarma album in it's own way but a little disappointed considering some of their much better songs of the past.. namely Spiritual Trance and Area 51 just to quickly name a couple of my faves.
15. yep! I looked all over Tucson, AZ for more Praga Khan and never could find any. I was beginning to wonder if they were just a one hit wonder or something.. . It's about like being addicted to chocolate but living on a deserted island.

hey all

I've been watching this site for a few weeks getting some ideas on new music, have to say thanks for whomever created it and everyone who contributes it's a wealth of information for someone like me.. I'm in an area of the U.S. where I'm surrounded by people who don't even get into trance at all, kind of a bummer. I've been a fan of techno and beyond since 1993 when I first heard Lords of Acid, Messiah and that old compilation Rave Til Dawn if anyone remembers those.. Just never found that right sound until I picked up a nice compilation Transylavania 5 and got hooked on trance. Up until recently, I've been mesmerized for years by Infected Mushroom, Shiva Shidapu and Yahel for all my uplifting GOA urges, but thanks to this site I've found some music perfect for my taste in Alienapia, Filteria, Merr0w, and I'm always looking for more music like those groups if anyone has any suggestions... ? thanks to this site I can now define my favorite genre as Psytrance, GOA, Uplifting, Nitzhonot, even some darkpsy.. Also an avid fan of Death and Black metal too.. extreme taste diversity makes people look at you in wonder. -Darkpup
