  1. that's a pretty cool background. Like Sierra games "King's Quest" meets alice in wonderland kinda thing.
  2. I haven't tried Silent Hill 5.. I think last one I played was 2. But RE-5 loved that game. I played the first part over and over because the survival scene in the shed versus the zombies (and eventually the crazy axe swinging dude) reminds me of the classic movie Zombii. First time I played that me and a friend were beyond buzzed and just trying to survive that level was all we could do. There was a lot of "WHAT?!?!" , "GET OVER HERE AND HELP ME!!!!" and "THAT DUDE is just SWINGING THAT AXE MOTHER F---!!" eventually when you get enough points to fully upgrade the hand cannon you own that game like no other. You just walk through levels like who cares? at least til you get near those giant cockroach things that kill you instantly if you get close enough. And the crazy chainsaw guy....
  3. I'd love to learn how to do fractals. most of my artwork comes through photo-manipulation. But everytime I get a fractal program like Bryce or Chaos Pro or whatever, I don't get what all the numbers mean and how they can make bubbles and all that stuff.
  4. you could probably kick furniture down a flight of stairs and it would sound awesome. I am indeed a fan of Filteria. cheers
  5. after reading Trance2MoveU's review of K.U.R.O.'s latest I decided to check out the Red Zombie. kinda dig it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTj4IlYEOkk
  6. well here try this for a few min.. it's not bad really.. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=zllH3ZMzSwU
  7. blasphemy! how can I ever get enough? on a previous post I mentioned 222 tracks loaded over 28 hours total, have it set on random select, play it when I get home from work for about 2-4 hours then listen to more of it in my car for my 35 minute drive to work, then home.. even have it loaded on my phone and possibly play it while I'm working. Other music I get burned out on but trance I can listen to constantly. I guess I'm just a FIEND! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciDl1GBHxVg
  8. Have you ever considered or plan to have female vocals to compliment this new style? Reason I say is I heard VanBuuren's song with Sharon Den Adel last year "In and Out of Love" and man the angelic notes she hits to the music is beyond awesome. I suppose it would put it in more of a club category but there's some remixes of that, one being the Blizzard remix by Richard Durand, that brings it back to a more trance sound. I still get the melodies of T.R.A.N.C.E. playing in my head various times of various days.. that has to be my favorite song off your last album.
  9. it's a mellow morning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ov9kH54Z-dM
  10. that's a cool background Sideffect @Jisnegro dude I used to have a lot of issues with icons on the desktop but I created a sidebar menu with some folders and shoved crap into them.. and cleaned up lots of space. @Olly maybe you should try to find some registry cleaning program and then try winamp again. I've heard some bad things about the newest Winamp, I'm currently using version 5.581 (not Pro either) and ignore the update screens. I've tried other mp3 players but nothing is as simple and solid as winamp.
  11. just to see what others are looking at when the computer is booted up.. (hit print screen from desktop and then paste to and save on image editor for those who don't know how) I'll start. Winamp with skin "Reflex" bumpin some Twizack.. over 28 hours in 222 tracks of music loaded up on the playlist. Windows XP Pro SP3.. don't ever care to upgrade it.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4zJCVmn5SI after a few min I upped the bass and the volume.. got lost in the sound.. oh yea
  13. have you tried the browser Maxthon 3? kinda cool.. http://maxthon.com/
  14. well jeez man I don't and have never had anything against the gay community whatever man to each their own but these homophobic kids tryin to get a rise out of you while you're just tryin to play a game gets old real quick. If only their parents knew how they talked.. shit my mom would have washed my mouth out with soap before and after my ass whippin with the wooden spoon!
  15. just me.. messin around with some Artifact 303 bumpin..
  16. I'm in love with this whole freakin album... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNV4urjLxII&feature=related
  17. I find myself on Xbox 360 a lot.. probably more than I should. anyone who's interested in befriending my gamertag is: Darkpup69696 I've been having a ton of fun with Dead Space 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction. Before that I played the hell out of Dead Rising 2. If I'm not gaming I'll be on Netflix, watching some movie. I'm really just a casual gamer who likes co-op more than competitive play.. And I really hate those douchebag 13 year olds who constantly call you gay terms and curse at you like sailors when they one up you on deathmatching. Nothing makes me want to leave a game more than that.
  18. @ first glance I thought it said Chad's Opera so when I looked it up I found nothing. time to get my eyes checked I suppose
  19. just to quote myself.. I really don't mean to take away anything from the VanBurren or Tiesto DJ's, given their success and huge fanbase over the years.. I just mean to say that this is the style I'd prefer and never really heard them do. I don't need to be stepping on toes for fans of those DJs. opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
  20. Before I started to read that thread I was just wondering if conversing with great artists could possibly have the backlash for them to change the way they do things.. If you get so many people saying your stuff needs this or that, when they have limited knowledge of and 99% opinion of how music sounds to the rest of the world then I can see where you wouldn't want something like that happening. that drama thread is sad. As a couple year member (and moderator) of another site of a different subject altogether, I've had my fair share of watching drama, deleting drama, voting to ban people for it, etc.. @ OOOD. As a hardcore stalker of your facebook page, can I get some complimentary botox ? Even what's remaining in the syringe that pierced a bandmembers face I could cherish or sell on Ebay.
  21. amongst many things, is that artists are here among us and post their input, read feedback, befriend us and promote their own stuff here. I'm used to seeing artists (for various genres, even local bands) here in the states who act like you need to be thankful they even looked at you when you see them on stage or on the street. Never would they grace their presence online, someone would be hired to make a myspace or facebook whatever page and you'd pretend you're talking to the band when you're not. Whether you are a DJ bustin your ass on the sets, or just simply sit at home and make amazing music on a computer it's cool that you take the time to be a part of the community rather than look down your noses at it and forget where you came from. kudos.
  22. In the previous years, I used to seek out a VanBuuren or Tiesto album for something like this. I don't have to now, since this is obviously much better.
  23. agreed. All my orbital cd's are buried somewhere maybe I should blow the dust off em and reminisce... I recently discovered some Wizack Twizack... For some reason never heard of them til I arrived here. He/She/They ??? make some pretty decent tracks. I even like the originality of the name. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQkYsbG7NS0
  24. I like it! especially when the beat kicks in @ 4:35. many years back I was a big fan of Orbital. not sure what they are classified as but I thought a lot of their stuff to be ambient with a little house mixed in http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCgVaLrTpr4
  25. ear porn!!! Great driving music too. My job is about 35 minutes away so I can space out pretty good by the time I get there to this.
