  1. Two words is hardly a good critic. Anyway, thanks so much for this mix, it shows you have great taste - the mix also flows very well, the psy tracks fit perfectly. I was wanting to get into Steve Roach but I wasn't quite sure, but on hearing Arrival, I wasn't in any doubt about ordering Empetus. Thanks again!

    Artifakt - Artifakt II

Not a review technically, but did you notice track 7 is pretty funny? Firstly, it's called 7, also it's length is 0:49 - which is 7x7!! Nice bit of trivia for you there.
  3. Boards of Canada - An Eagle In Your Mind
  4. Cool track. Ishq - Nomad
  5. Export as wav then convert to MP3?
  6. I have both albums. Really nice floating stuff. Also, his compilation tracks En Soph (Quality Relaxation) and Alaya (Natural Born Chillers) are absolute gold.
  7. Nicey nice! I already got Chilling Goddess, this will hopefully be just as good!
  8. Ishq - Alaya Perfect track.

  15. Awesome. Now I know what to save up for
  16. Okay so how much (roughly) would you say an artist album costs? (obviously you've released some already so you'll know )
  17. You massive CD addict! I demand that you seek professional medical advice immediatley!!
  18. Shpongle - Are You Shpongled?
  19. Hm, well there's issues such as: Firstly MAKING the tracks and compiling a CD. Next, getting a decent enough mastering service. Also you'll need to setup your own label as a registered company. Once done, you'll need to press the cds and pay for jewel cases, artwork etc. Then you'll need to pay for distribution. You're probably looking around £0-2000 for step one, depending on what synths you need to buy Not sure on mastering... I'm not sure on how much it is to register a company either (off the top of my head) The more CDs you press, the price should go down per CD - but usually for 1,000 cds you'll be looking at about £400-500 Distribution - these are the guys who will deliver the CDs to the shops - they'll pay you once they run out of stock - so it could be a few months before you see profit. I'd say in all, you're looking around £1,000 to release a CD on your own record label.
  20. Can't wait! Heh, but Ott will be on at around 2:30AM - wonder if I can stay up that long
