£8 on saikosounds / just under £9 on psyshop. That's hardly expensive, compared to commercial music stores like HMV which jack up album prices to around £16.

Hybrid synths are pretty good for anything - try http://www.kvraudio.com - I think though you can make FX with any decent synth...

Don't get TOO excited though, I really want to release my solo ambient stuff first. I would probably have to hook up with another producer if I were to start producing goa... (I have tried and I find it difficult doing it alone)

Not Goa artist specifically, more of melodic ambient type style. I consider myself a pretty talented musician, so who knows, maybe a nu-skool goa project from me? Firstly though comes the melodic ambient.
