Total Eclipse - Chaotic Circus

The good songs make me feel incredibly powerful emotions and vent stuff that's buried deep inside. Mostly what I'm after is those soaring staccato melodies and the acid lines or a well executed sense of a peculiar kind of progression into the unknown. Most of it just makes me a bit stressed though.

I think Astral begun to suck when the stopped worshipping the melodic aesthetics of Trilithon's "track house" and 80's italo disco. They made fantastic music but that's not because they were psytrance/goa - it's because of their brilliant melodies. And brilliant melodies are not in style today.

Mostly the classics. I guess my brain was in an exceptionally malleable state when I first came in contact with this music, since it's very hard to like stuff that's new to me. Pure psytrance always came off as lazy and effect-driven, to be honest. But then again I like italo disco

I'm picky when it comes to beatless but the good stuff can really slow down time at will to make this droning sound perfectly intelligible music, if you give it the chance. I can't think of a better way to describe it.

Andromeda is one that surely is corrupt. I have 44 tracks, how many are in the original folders?

I'd rather see some of the mid-tempo (not quite dancefloor but not breakbeat-ethnochill either) released, since that's where he seems to excel the most with a highly personal style. I haven't memorized tracks yet but now I'm playing "Kaleidoscopic Mind" and this one is stunning.

Very good so far, and this is like 5 albums worth of tracks Especially the slower tracks are stellar.
