Ambient Goa, cool
The Waldorf track is the 1st track played on the embedded player that is in the right column of this page: http://www.waldorf-music.info/en/largo.html
Hello,
What kind of music is the 1st tune of the demo player of Waldorf Largo, called "01 Blob"?
And what kind of music is the last tune of many old-school goa trance album (slow music) such as Astral Projection - Still Dreaming? Thank you!
Any idea what is behind the SFX at 4:32 in Scarab? It seems there is some feedback and flanger + overdrive, but my guess is vague! I love it in any case
One nice SFX can be found in The Chemical Brothers - Setting Sun (at 2:10), also used in Karmic Energies - Bonobo (at 0:53:28), followed by another short one at 2:29.
I was playing around with my SR-JV expansion boards and I'm surprised that a number of sounds used in goa trance music come from the SR-JV80-15 Special FX Collection. It's a great board for our genre. I also recommand the SR-JV80-04 Vintage Synth board
Do some of you have experience with Cubase 7 and a laptop computer? How does it perform? What specs do you have? I'm thinking about having such setup but I'm afraid about performance.
I suggest also Miss Djax - Hardliner, Joey Beltram - Cop Car, Technohead - Headsex, Technohead - Gabba Hop (careful with the woofer!!), Technohead - The Passion, Technohead - Keep The Party Goin'
Enjoy!
