sounds like could be your player, grubby hands (no offence) do you work with chemicals? or enviroment possibly? i owned over 5000 cd's at one point, and have never experinced this (started collecting in the late 80's still have cd's from that error that work perfectly. on the other hand over time depending on the quality of the plastic use, some do dergrade quickly, and i believe the life cd's were originally given was about 10 years or so? or some serious bad luck to you

agreed! but they did release all quality over the years, i met someone once who ripped his fav slinky tracks, cd artwork, hybrid rhino designs for covers. when i came accross the cd i almost wet myself thinking fuck how come i never heard of this, until he told me. would have been hard for those guys to get together in studio and put a full album together, with all their commitments running rhino and all. i think a slinky wizard best of, with a couple of those unreleased tracks that are around would be a great idea! anyone please

nice topic i am from Australia/NZ and you on the money squidy, few years ago at least we kinda kooky down here, but no longer have much of a psyscene. all about progressive and dubstep these days, so to answer your question yesteryear..... big time now i believe to a point, we have lost our identity in lot's of ways, and maybe that's also showing in the music
