Im pretty much a fan of all but 1 and 3, which aren't even that bad at all... ive given it quite a few listens and those 2 just seem one tiny notch under to me... Great review mate! Id have to go with bassline... but for instance Tikal - Breath (the remix from the bamboo forest track) has the crappiest bassline IMHO but i love the track! cheeze0r!

well the alternative control isn't bad at all, it's just like unreleased so the stuff u hear is an extract from the dvd... doesn't help... im also a fruitcake for Dino Psaras - Firewall. bah.

the alternative control one is on the DVD. There's a mycel release with all the tracks on the dvd out there, unreleased stuff of course. then hmm the Tikal one is on his 2004 album Ritual cycle i believe. and the bamboo forest is on the album bamboo forest from 2003

i dunno man, i was on acid, and i heard the pixel wrecked machines track at the nature party. let's just say i naturally sung with the track and danced like a madman.

Halo! Since i saw the DVD of Vision Quest 2006 with Alternative Control's rmx to the Bamboo Forest classic I've like fallen in love with it again! To be honest Tikal's rmx is my favorite though. Supercheesefest! Dav

I guess i didn't notice that post . But to be honest i think the idea of a subforum for each time period with individual posts asking for requests would be uberclear... maybe not as fun though...

Hey peeps! Just wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to have a specific forum for requests. I personally would love to have a psynews review of Tikal's "RitualCycle" from 2004. A post where everyone just names psy releases would get too confusing... maybe a sub-subforum to each subforum in the review section where people could start a post for each review they'd like to see, then people would add replies saying they'd like it too, or linking to one, or saying they're gonna try and do it etc... Meh? Dav
