I have a 2000 and 2002... they are not horrible but quite generic music.

This is wrong. The sound quality is limited by the earphones, not the iPod. The default iPod earphones suck, but the sound quality is fine with my Shures. And it is almost impossible to hear the difference between an mp3 and a WAV anyways.

Do you mean the earphones break? Because those default earphones are crap... but I've had my iPod for 3 years now and it still works perfectly. It has had a couple problems but they always went away with a reset. I even dropped it down the toilet once.

Ipod. Btw, you will gain 0 audible quality by using WAV rather than MP3 with earphones, even if you buy $500 ones.

A few hundred diehard Suntrip fans. Face it: the music is a watered down Pleiadians copycat. The music is generic and boring. I listened to it twice today and can't really remember anything else about it. I also listened to Trilithon - Trance Dance 128 twice for the first time today and can remember all the tracks from that quite vividly... made 18 years ago and much more interesting, despite poor sound quality.

Not really "real goa", some of the most "fake" sounding stuff you can find. Goa music was never about being on the top of charts, it is being bastardized and commercialized, not resurrected.

Easiest solution is just add some custom field to the registration form so they can't register automatically in the first place.

It's nearly impossible to improvise and add your own creative elements if you couldn't copy the older music in the first place. It's the same with ANY discipline... you ALWAYS learn what was done previously so you don't reinvent the wheel.

Fair enough, I don't mean a whole track, I just keep hearing interesting things and thinking "SO HOW DID THEY DO THAT?!" about certain parts. Like what were the basic "sounds" or strategy they used to create this melody / pattern / whatever. It's hard to determine what was being sequenced and what effects were being used when it gets really complicated [psytrance!].

From 30 seconds sounds very familiar.... But I've watched that video before so I might have been contaminated.
