  1. Fans saying they would love to get a new album is a good source of inspiration.
  2. Indeed, how could one be acquiring a copy of this nowadays? Repress? Anything?
  3. OH MY GAWD I FINALLY GOT IT http://www.discogs.com/Yimino-The-Evolution-Of-Bulbuss-And-The-Polymorphic-Nightmare/release/2100436 I've been listening this album since forever. So many memories attached to it. I sent a mail to the label and asked if they still had copies and they did! I can't believe how happy I'm about this. I love this album and had no idea if I could ever own it.
  4. Say what you will but this album is kickass! I don't even listen to dubstep/electro much but this is just awesome. It has moments of pure badass("yes! OH MY GOD!") and it also has moments of clarity and fantastic melodies! The noisia remix is just icing on the cake, that remix is ridiculous. And on top of the music the cover is so damn nice! It's as good as the music really.
  5. I loved these! I need to check that comp out! All dem emotions. But why are you people generally avoiding new productions? There is shit, yeah, but there's good stuff too..
  6. Very nice track! Very hypnotic and flows well. The part that starts at 4:50 is pure old school sound, nice job there! The samples made me want to listen to Enlightened Evolution again. I think proper mastering could do wonders though, the general sound is flat which makes it a bit boring. Nice remix thou!
  7. Perhaps we should!?
  8. Yahhh I think our new overlords should work on it
  9. Goddamn that took long. Better late than never I guess.. Saikosounds here I come.
  10. Look at that text, man..
  11. What the hell?
  12. Mandatory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DS4o4X3Ia4E Maybe it's just me, but when 0:47 hits, the way it revs, my jaw drops and tongue wets. That is freaking ridiculous.
  14. Great track! Hope there's gonna be more for 2011. Dancing With The Blue Spirit was my pick for best album of 2010.
  15. Ethanol is fucking massive. The acid is just tasty like you'd expect and the melodies rather technoish, but that bassline just seals the deal on the whole thing. It's dirty as hell, I love it. POM POM POM POM POM POM OooOOMP POM POM POM!!! YES!!! Just imagine a rave with this track.
  16. BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM B)
  17. Waa I actually really like this. Nice colors and mysticism. I think the lost buddha one is ok but the text is rather simple
  18. Well I'm happy. The original untold stories had such awful mastering. This will be nice.
  19. Honestly what comments are you responding to? I don't see much negativity about your VA's overall, bad comments here and there are always going to pop up because of taste. I'd say Alternative Colors and Spiritual Rising are considered overall strong goa compilations. Now about your second VA, Elixir Of Life was generally considered weaker because of the much stronger direction of nitzhonot melodies, different style, not because of the mastering - which is actually very well mastered in comparison to Alternative Colours and Spiritual Rising. And yes lots of labels do have problems with mastering, for whatever reasons, but that doesn't mean it's not something that can't be fixed and that the reasons for the negativity surrounding it are baseless. These "Destructive" comments about mastering are actually "Constructive," it is something that you can fix. The problem with mastering like on Alternative Colours and Spiritual Rising is when you want to crank the volume up, it's almost impossible because it gets way too harsh, it hurts the ears. I think this comes from the loudness war, correct me if I'm wrong. On that note, I love to use this example of Suncokreti by Ultiva Records. That VA had everything going for it, great cover, fantastic tracks and what it boiled down to was some of the worst mastering I have ever heard. It crippled the sound to the point it's actually hard to enjoy listening it. On a more positive note, I'm glad nothing happened to Ezel Ebed, the way it disappeared made me worried if we lost another much needed goa label. It's good to know that's not the case.
  20. Re-listening to this and the thing that keeps bothering me is the mastering. I have the need to compensate with EQ but it can do only oh so much. Especially the amanians track, the sound is harsh and flat, though with that in mind, it's still musically simply brilliant. One of those rare tracks that just put me in the state of trance. It's so psychedelic, the amount of thundering, whirling, spiraling effects is so ridiculous. Such a magnificent piece that can only be better with new mastering. E-mantra's and Astrancers tracks suffer quite a bit as well. So if Ezel-Ebed ever comes with a new comp or an album, I would definitely suggest - or simply order - them to get better mastering, this just isn't good and definitely isn't doing justice to the actual quality of the tracks, they are really fantastic!
