  1. Hi! It's been a long time since I've uploaded some new music (was very busy the past couple of years), but recently I've been working on some new stuff I will upload new tracks/demo's here regularly: Enjoy!
  2. There is a binaural plugin called H3D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pm3ZRSLMWQA
  3. Hmm I think of it more like this: If I say there isn't something as a God/Creator, i'm presenting it as factual information... And the same the other way around. The problem with a creator is that you can't simply analyse all arguments for and against the existence because they are so vague and undetermined.. Like saying there is a non-tangible, non-measurable energy around us.. That's a dead-end statement, because the nature of the object is that it can't be measured/proven nor falsified.. But there are some interesting point of views in the matter.. For example, I read a text written by Theodosius Dobzhansky : 'Nothing in Biology Makes Sense Except in the Light of Evolution. He talks about, well, what's in the title, but also about the fact that he is both a Geneticist/Evolutionist, AND a devote believer.
  4. The Messenger (2012) and Drum n bassa are ace tracks! Really like them As for the rest of the album, I applaud the production quality, and in some tracks (some may find this a bit weird) originality.. I have seldom heard this kind of mix between dubstep, electro and Infected's typical Psy.
  5. Hmm I would say Electro House or something, although it has a kinda chill vibe too.. Wouldn't say deephouse, because deephouse tends to have a jazz or funk influenced vibe.. Anyway, sounds nice.
  6. Really, great track man! Epic intro, wicked bassline.. Fantastic. Agree with Javi, needs a proper cd.. All the best and I hope to hear from you more!
  7. Another album-preview! Hope you enjoy http://soundcloud.com/simon_felix09/daimon-transmutation-sample
  8. Well it's not Goatrance, but this is amazing! One of the most intense trance I have heard so far, truly beautifull. This is exactly what the trance scene needs for me.. And that remix is great too..
  9. Hmm I was never a big muses rapt fan... But this doesn't dound to bad to me, allthough the tracks don't sound finished somehow... Like rough sketches. And offcourse, it doesn't come anywhere nere the pure genious of this epic The Muses Rapt track! : http://vimeo.com/2276202
  10. Free -jazz players know there share of music-theory, believe me I see it this way: To make music, you don't necessarily need the theory behind it, you can make music intuitively. But knowing something about the theory behind it, makes it a lot easier to discover the different 'roads' to take while composing. If you want to break boundaries, you have to know what the boundaries are first. And it's the same when making electronic music: you can make a fantastic song with samples an presets, but to create every sound that pops up in our head, you've got to know about synthesizing.
  11. Indeed top notch production as usual, and some interesting harmonies from time to time, but it seems that they have gotten Skrillex-Fever. Epileptic-wobble-house-step describes this best for me.. Seriously, you could have told me this was the new Skrillex-album and I would've believed you Well not my cup of tea, and it seems as if IM hired a trend-watcher to tell them what kids these days are into, but I guess a lot of people outside of the Psy-scene will like it
  12. Haven't posted anything in a long time, so her is another album preview! Hope you enjoy
  13. Hmm yes he has a lot of breaky tracks too, but is was referring to a lot of the tracks on the first page of his soundcloud, wich are pretty dubsteppy to me, as in: deep basses, 140bpm halftime rithm, wobbly atmosphere.. The first one actualy reminds a lot of Kryptic Mindz http://soundcloud.co...f-prey-paradise http://soundcloud.co...-prey-stargazer
  14. Very nice!! Really, great stuff. i only dislike some guitar-notes in the intro (f.e. at 33 sec), and the last part (6 min and onwards) doesn't sound really consistent with the rest of the track to me, but the middle part is beautiful.
  15. Bird of Prey (or his collaboration birds of paradise) is amazing! http://soundcloud.com/bird-of-prey And i'm working on some psybreaks/psystep, a new project I will put some tracks on for download when they are finished..
  16. When I was around the age of 13, i somehow got a burnt cdr with a couple of old IM song, together with Shakta - Shakti Shakta and Yahel - Waves of Sound.. Return of the shadows was also on it, and man i listened to those 3 song over and over again.. Stil 3 of my all time favorites (nostalgia i guess..) A while later i also got Zodiac from Talamasca, and started to look up other artists, and simultaneously began making Goa tracks too
  17. I'm an agnost I'm not saying there is a god or some kind of creator, not saying there isn't because we simply can't proof either
  18. Hilarious I hope this is ment to be funny I laughed my ass of when they began about the 'demonic posession' of artists
  19. i was born on the 12th of december... Frank Sinatra was born on the 12th of december.. Coincidence? I think not... I'm am destined to be a great singer one day.
  20. But now I will stop filling this thread with Off-Topicness
  21. Sigh.. I didn't say any of those things Again, my point is: as an artist you shouldn't let critisism decide what you make or how you make it, because the main point of making music is enjoying yourself and not only pleasing others. So i'm totaly NOT saying people shouldn't criticise, criticise all you want But you should always have in the back of your mind that opinions about art are extremely subjective. And I for instance try to be respectfull about art even if i don't like it, because 1) the artist put his heart and soul in his work (I know, you can't always now this but i give artists the benefit of doubt), and 2) it makes other people happy, so it totally succeeded it's goal as art. That's why I will never say someone has 'a bad taste in music' (or any other art), because for me there is no such thing. But you are totally right, everybody should be free to express his or her opinion, no matter what. But i prefer thinking my criticism through, because art is no exact science, it's not black/white, there is no good or bad.
  22. Ok again, I WASN'T TALKING AS A PRODUCER! i just was saying what my thoughts are about music in general so feel free to comment on my work harsh, constructive, good, none-cunstructive, doesn't matter.. i will see what i will do with it As long as I enjoy what i'm doing, there is no problem at all. Man it seems to be hard to get yourself understood when not having a discussion with someone in person
  23. people don't seem to get my point here, i don't seem to read what i wrote I mean there is critisism, and constructive critisism. And offcourse as an artist you should be able to handle both. But one can be really helpfull, and about the other you shouldn't care if YOU like what you make And to make things clear, i wasn't talking as an artsist, i really can handle critisism and frankly i don't care what people think as long as i'm enjoying myself. I was talking as a music-enthousiast in general. And what I consider constructive comments, are comments about the technical side of music making, or from someone who listens to things similar as the kind of things you make, and has somewhat the same taste. And those comments can be good or bad!!! If someone who listens to R&B says that 'all he can here is that repetetive 4/4 beat, there is no debt in this music, you should add a female singer and some R&B beats', well, that isn't constructive and you shouldn't care a rats ass about what that person says But if someone whom you know shares the same taste, and knows what you try to achieve, has comments about what you do, then those can be really helpfull. But comments like 'stop trying to do what already has been done' wont help a bit, so as an artist you should not let them get to you. THAT was my point! And i can't stress enough, I was not talking only as an artist, and i do can take critisism Otherwise i wouldn't make music
  24. Yeah, i agree, i really don't mean that artists shouldn't be critisised. Constructive criticism can be very helpfull! I was refering to the fact that people seem to try pushing artists in the direction they want... Because if you move a certain direction, you will please some and dissapoint others.. So mainly it is about making the music YOU want, not what other people want you to make. If one of my favourite artists starts evolving towards a style I don't like, hell he should if he wants to, I'll just listen to other artists i do like. For me there is no point in commenting on that artists newer work as in : 'man, his new sound sucks balls, his old work was tons better, stop making this new crap and go back to your old sound!' My main point was that critisism CAN be really helpfull, but that artists shouldn't met that decide waht they make.
