  1. Hi there Penzoline! I've downloaded tons of mixes in hunt of that mix of old and new goa magic, so here's my opinion. My absolute favorite is Dargoa. His mixes are nothing less than amazing. His track selection leans more towards the new school, but the vibe is high energy old school. He is handsdown the best. His mixes are often only named the date they were recorded. The mixes released 2010-2011 are amazing. My favorite is 2011-06-06. GhostOnAcid is also really good. The mix he recommended above is great, but my favorite of his mixes is Smiley Faces of the Big Bang. The DJ Stevo mix called Goa Trance live Goapocalypse recommended above is another highlight. If you find more excellent mixes, please post here!
  2. The album is now available at Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/5aCl9V6Hr8cCL0cjYjzekX
  3. People that do not limit themselves to one genre tend to be good a finding the right tracks to create a certain vibe, you seem to have that skill. I'll listen to your other mixes! Looking forward to your next goa mix!
  4. Varied trackselection combined with great mixing makes this a likeable mix! Do you have any more mixes available online? Looking forward to hear more of your mixes!
  5. I would really like to listen to your mixes, the tracklists look interesting, but I rarely find myself sitting infront of my computer these days. Is there any chance you could make those mixes available for download?
  6. You truely deserve a lot of recognition for tracking down that artist, that is impressive and important digging! That tune has been discussed previously on this forum, and it's one phenomenal track! I tried to find the original thread where we discussed the track, but I failed. :-( Maybe someone else can find the thread? I'm fairly certain that many of us thought that it might be a french artist.
  7. Classic tracks, great mixing, nice vibe, keep it up! Haven't listened to the third mix, but it looks promising. Would love download it and listen to it, but Mixcloud doens't allow that, as far as i know.
  8. Another great mix! Love your track selection. Didn't like the ending Amithaba Buddha track.
  9. Beautiful https://soundcloud.com/ibogaemok/son-kite-synesthesia-original
  10. Didn't know that. I've never heard anything exciting by Hujaboy. Which of their tracks should I listen to?
  11. I discovered Gorlation Corporation on Krembos compilation Selected Tunes Part 4 back in 1999. I've since then heard some of their tracks on other compilations and I've always liked what I've heard. A couple of weeks ago I decided to track down all of their tracks. They have released one single and some compilation tracks, but no album. I now have all but one track, their debut track DaGoogE Life. Gorlation Corporation produce some excellent dark psychedelic music, somewhere between Darshan and Spiral Active Project. Track down their tracks and you have one hour of some great music! They are one of those acts that never received the attention they deserve, probably because they never released a full album.
  12. Why are the tracks unmastered? A collaboration between Atmos and BUS is a wet dream, but the lack of mastering makes it sound very flat and boring. The track by Miranda has drastically different sound levels compared to the other tracks. This looked promising, but didn't sound as good. Sorry about the negativity.
  13. I listened to Colours yesterday, such a beatiful album! I'm sure their new album will be even better. They are among a select few talanted artists that actually manage to evolve without losing the spirit.
  14. This is exactly what neogoa has been missing; deep, dark and twisted music. Instant purchase!
  15. That was my first thought too, but Igorrr is just weirder and a lot more fun. Listen to this track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbWZlR-uAIg Better yet, listen to the full album, Hallelujah (available at Spotify).
  16. Have you listened to Igorrr? No? You should. It's Shpongle inverted, and über psychedelic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKp30C3MwVk Enjoy!
  17. I'm listening to the February 2013 mix, and at 57:20 there's a track that sounds a lot like Quirk, but it's not any of the tracks on their debut album, and as far as I can recall there weren't any tracks with that sound on their follow up album. Any ideas? Is it an unreleased Quirk track? It contains the sample, "that's fucking crazy man". I searched the sample @ psydb.net, no results.
  18. Oh, and here's another Tsuyoshi goa mix: https://soundcloud.com/djtsuyoshi/djtsuyoshi-matsuri-goa-trance
  19. I just stumbled over this: https://soundcloud.com/matsuri-digital There are two Tsuyoshi Suzuki mixes, one from 94 (live @ Return to the source!), and one new mix, with old school goa! I'm listening to the 94 mix right now, feeling very happy. !!!
  20. Great! The mystery is finally solved and our suspicion confirmed.
  21. Very good mix! I like that you focus on the vibe, rather than on the genre.
  22. I like your track selection, but you should have lowered the volume on the Attenborough samples, because of the volume they don't merge well with the mix, especially noticeable if played on large speakers (i.e. the samples 19-20 min). Listen to Tone Tales From Tomorrow by Coldcut for inspiration: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Tone-Tales-From-Tomorrow/release/145130
  23. I loved the mix (of old and new) up until the Derango & Horses tracks, after that you kind of lost me. :-/
