  1. I would definetely go to Egypt. I'm from Colombia, one of the most stigmatized countries and among the ones with the worst international image, thanks to narcotraffic, violence, etc. Yes, there are drug cartels in here, there is violence, there are a lot of issues the government has to take care of, most of the population is considered poor, but not all is lost! The aforementioned things are real, but also, the media always tend to aggrandize the things and make them look worse, living here is not that bad as is commonly seen on the news.
  2. Thanks for the suggestions. So far I've checked Yagya and it is exactly the sound I am looking for. About Krill Minima, I love his Nautica album, pretty deep. Ps: feel free to merge the topics, as you said, it would be better to have all the recommendations in one single thread.
  3. This is another good example of the sound I'm looking for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJ8zrUbLYTQ
  4. Hi, Recently I came across an old set I have in my hard drive and there was a particular track that caught my attention, I looked it up in the track list and found out that the artist was Quantec. I like his style, deep basslines and dense atmospheres smoothly combined with surrounding sounds giving different textures to the music, it gives me the felling of being in a kind of subaquatic world. Could you please recommend some other artists in the same vein here are a few samples so you can understand what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hqobfasZn4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiKIM4Nb0Ts

  6. The one at minute 14 is Shaolin Wooden Men - Remember The Slime http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8zrhSMxap8 ps: thanks to Abasio for posting the track in this thread
  7. Samples of the new Ultimae compilation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtdi9Z0vgKM The Cygna and the Tripswitch track are my favourites so far. Really looking fordward to this compilation, I hope it be as half as good as Ambrosia, which for me was the best downtempo compilation of the last year.
  8. any news?
  9. lol
  10. I wish Ra would release a downtempo album In the meantime, the samples sound promising, this compilation seems to be a very good way for suntrip to start the new year.
  11. Just downloaded it, and have only listened to the first track, so far so good!
  12. Never say no! (though I voted no )

  16. Ok, thanks for letting me know!
  17. When i first listened to Krusseldorf's music, I think it was the Thermo nuclear EP, I couldn't believe it was made by the same guy behind the Atrium Carceri project. Simon has demonstrated very special skills and that he is capable of producing tracks ranging from the most dark and dense atmospheres to the melodic and brighter ones. This album in particular, as Melancholyman pointed out, is like a blend between his two projects Atrium Carceri and Krusseldorf, featuring tracks with a dense and dark atmosphere but with a touch of light represented in the melodies somehow full of hope. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm1ggqoYtCQ
