  1. Digital Mystery Tour - Rue Des Roses Nice to start the morning with
  2. OK I also didn't see the samples site... So I'll check there. I am interested in this
  3. Hum... I think this is precisely what the... (how do I call them?) "deciding"? team wanted: that the first post will be "perfect", with photo and tracklist and track by track description. But I see what you mean, if nobody reviews a CD and it doesn't get reviewed only because it's too hard/annoying to make a track by track description then it's a bit a pity. A solution would be that someone posts a first post with only release details, and post his review in another post. Then, if someone wants to make a track by track description, he writes it and paste it on the release details post. Problem: you have release details post under someone nicks and the review (the "good" one) is under someone else. So perhaps the release detail post will be under noone's name? And also, who will be the one to have his review on the first post? The first one to submit? Someone who is doing this for a long time? My suggestion isn't perfect but I don't really have another idea.
  4. Trance side is Goa? Psy? Dark? I know only BPC and Electrypnose...
  5. I understand what you're saying tamlin. But that happens alot. Many times people get attention (even if they didn't ask for it) and become the center of attention while someone else who's got a similar problem don't even get a stare. What can we do? This is how things happen. And not only for bad things. Sometimes someone does, say, a super assist. But everybody's attention is focused on the scorer, even if he only had to move his feet one cm and the assister did the whole job and noone cares about him. That's life. And there is some kind of hypocrisy when being sorry for the loss of someone we didn't even know. But if you know the person who lost someone then you can to identify yourself to the pain, thus saying you're sorry. Ah, all we can do is being alone, or be thankful to the few who showed respect/attention.
  6. Sounds quite soulless and uninspired to me. Reminds me of Pipeworm a bit, only that Pipeworm was interesting at the end. EDIT: sounds also more like a YB track, and I don't like this style..... Aaaaahhhh, what can we do?
  7. Well, I personally liked Kai Tracid stuff (especially Peyote Song) - not really old though. Kai-Q have you heard it?
  8. OK cool, thanks for the suggestion! And I did the thing everybody now must do, I Youtube'd it and found it And here is Ayla's version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYM49LVFgog Interesting thing to notice is how Trance morphed. Ayla took away all the sounds that were in the middle part and which are very often used in Goa, or Electro, and made it more the way Trance is now (I don't really know what, perhaps a lot emphasis on leading melody).
  9. The one from Cosmic Baby is on Stellar Supereme? I think (quite sure) I never heard it.
  10. Aaaahhhh, with the famous Liebe and Ayla. How did they rock my world back then (especially Liebe). Could you tell me what the rest of the album is like?
  11. Hey, this one is in the media library here Borrowed it some time ago.
  12. There is also a site named deezer where you can hear songs online. They have/had some problems with legality, but apparently they are working on it (a bit like radioblog if you want), and you can upload songs (in quite a lose quality of course). I already saw Astral, IM, Skazi, some Shpongle. So perhaps it is also another way to promote Goa. http://www.deezer.com/track/1946#music/result/shpongle
  13. And it can also help giving the "Skazi, IM, Alien Project fans" another view of Psy/Goa. In their wanderings in search for music they can find some other interesting (I won't say "better" - oops I said it ) music. Perhaps new fans of oldschool/newschool Goa or even other types of Electronic music can be "born". And it is also quite helpful in finding good old non released anymore tracks.
  14. Well, I saw that many mainstream artists also put their clips on Youtube (Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park, Akon etc.). I suppose they do so in order to promote themselves. So perhaps Goa lovers should do the same, only problem is they don't have the strict right to do so... But there is one thing I didn't understand, can you or can you not download the song from Youtube?
  15. Ambient wise I would recommend Galaxy - Science Of Ecstasy, and try Electrypnose - Subliminal Melancholies for a weirder journey . Nuclear Ramjet - Mission To Sedna is also nice, combining Psy with Electro and Ambient. Given that you also like Psychedelica Melodica, try perhaps Astrix - Eye To Eye (I hope I'm not confusing genres, been ages since I listened to it). Mystery/Secret Of The 13 Crystal Skulls, Alien Project also (earlier albums I think since now apparently it's sh*t - just talk with Damion (?) from psyreviews about it ).
  16. Well, I think it is not aweful, but it is definitely not spectacular. Just regular club music... I think the track This Can't Be Real on Koxbox - U-Turn where Frederic collaborated is great. I wish they would integrate some nice melodies (and I don't mean Goa Transwave melodies, more like Electro ones) and more diverse rhythms, different than the typical full-on...
  17. 1. Your total collection number (including everything: cds, vinyls, tapes etc. from every music genre). No vinyls. I guess it's something like 150. But I have the whole Chopin collection in a 30 CD box so it's more 180. Planning to get the Beethoven collection (more than 100.........) so it will surely boost the number 2. Your Psytrance & Psychill (all genres) number (including everything: cds, vinyls, tapes etc). I guess something like 81. 3. Your total cd collection number (every music genre). I guess something like 135. Thus tapes like 15, perhaps a little bit more 4. Your total cd Psytrance & Psychill (all genres) number. I guess something like 80. 5. First Psytrance or Psychill release you bought and when. Bought Eyal Barkan - Good Morning Israel back in 2000. Threw it away in 2003... Got back to Goa in 2006 when bought a bunch of CDs from Twisted: Hallucinogen both, Prometheus both, Unusual suspects both, Koxbox - U-Turn and perhaps one more I don't remember. 6. Fav Psytrance or Psychill release in your collection. Psytrance/Goa - Definitely Hallucinogen - Twisted and Jaïa - Blue Energy Psychill - Definitely Mystery Of The Yeti 1 7. Most important Psytrance or Psychill release in your collection and why. I guess it's Hallucinogen - Twisted since it's because of this album that I started to listen to Goa. 8. The most rare Psytrance or Psychill in your collection. Perhaps Asura - Code Eternity 1st edition? Don't have real rare ones... Oh! I have Transwave - Helium. I think it's rarer than Asura. 9. Albums/Compilations balance. I have more Goa/Chill albums I think. But every genre overall it might be compilations since when I was listening to Trance/Dance I thought compilations were better. 10. Do you support artists from your country. Do you buy their releases? I dislike most of French songs, so not buying these. As for Goa, I think oldschool French Goa was nice. But I'm not buying only because it's french... Say, I don't really like Talamsca so I won't buy it. Bonus question: Do you download Psy for free? Yes. In fact now I buy most of my CDs based on that. Except for few CDs where the samples were enough (U-Turn, Torakka - Far Out Express and few others).
  18. Wow, you're serial? You can get copies of Mystical Experiences at TIP World and Feeling Weird is sold second hand for not too much! You check it out!
  19. I like it! I think the voice of the woman fits very well. The melodies are quite repetitive but you manage to make the track sound interesting for the whole length. It's very joyful indeed. But I'm sorry if you won't like it, but every track I hear from you I compare to it Chandelier, and then they sound a bit less good. I think Chandelier is still your best track. I don't really know what to say about the production, I don't know a thing about production... Only one thing: I hear some noises/scratches from the left side (they're at quite a low volume though). Has anyone else noticed? Or perhaps it's my headphone...
  20. This is not a 17 April's fool. Extracts from Twisted's newsletter: Hallucinogen fans can start to get excited as we can confirm that new Hallucinogen material has been started with a view to an album. Shpongle's fourth album already well under way with 3 tracks (30mins) already done! We keep getting excited calls from the studio about these latest tracks being the best they've ever done! (my reaction: of course they said so...) We've heard the results and they're not lying! The only way to hear these tracks before they're released is to come to the LIVE gig in October! So what are your bets? 2009? 2010? And something else: We've decided to drop the prices of all the CDs in the shop! They are now £7.49! This is nice I think. And It will be our great pleasure to reveal to you in the next few weeks, the new Twisted Downloads website. Soon you can buy all our releases direct from us in top quailty 320kbps MP3 format (DRM Free) for the cheapest price on the internet! We will be releasing a horde of unheard bits and pieces from deep inside the dusty Twisted DAT drawer as well as some more recent remixes of your favorite Twisted artists. There will also be many other tracks and remixes from over the years, that have previously been reserved only for the Twisted label Live & DJ sets. For those who succumbed to the dark side of the digital...
  21. Ethereal - Moon Dawn? And perhaps some Torraka tracks (don't have the labum here and I don't remember what track will suit the best).
  22. Well, anal pictures or not, it is striking anyway. Like this gif which loops a penis doing circles while the guy is being taken from behind...
  23. Dude, I thought it was going to be a picture of "Leave Britney alone" or something... How am I supposed to know that gaybeef is that?
