  1. Today
  2. Also out now since a couple of weeks: This is the second one of four single track releases we plan to release this year. Like on almost all of our songs, we combined lead guitar and bass guitar recordings with a range of synthesizers but In contrast to our previous release, this song has a stronger focus on the Psytrance genre. The mood is a little bit smoother with a dreamy and psychedelic soundscape. The title refers to the crazy theory of the physician Max Planck about the things that happened in the first seconds after the big bang. This theory is commonly called the Planck Era or the Planck Epoch. here you can get a free download code for Bandcamp: band.codes getmusic.fm streaming and download links: Amazon Apple Bandcamp Deezer Spotify Youtube
  3. Very curious to hear what the new Atmos album is like
  4. First track on Slipstream One of the most lasting tracks in my collection. Pops up everywhere and I love it đź’•
  5. https://boomdevil.com/ This says "New Album Coming Soon" does anyone know I this is recent or super old and never going to happen?
  6. My first experience of Boom Devli was the 2 tracks at the start of Cass' Re:evolution mix: Lonesome & Morph 001 They were great chilled tracks to start the mix and were top class. The next I heard was "Call Her Name" on the chilled side of LIFE Re:evolution II and it was perhaps the track that really got me into the chilled side of music. Flying Rhino Freestyle was not GOA, not Psy, not Psychill or downbeat GOA, it was trippy lounge music and had a lot in common with trip hop, dub, relaxed breaks and cool shit your non-psy friends might like. I was thrilled to get a full album from them and I was not disappointed. The style of each track might not be so cohesive, but everything works together and it flows well enough. Coll trippy beats, nice floating atmospheres, the female vocalist manages to sound both grounded and ethereal at the same time. If you would like a good CD to put on for an after party, or just one to enjoy with your non-psy friends, this is a great album to put on.
  7. I'm surprised that there are so few comments on this album. Definitely one of the best progressive psy albums I have heard. Smooth, driving, cool. I like it a lot.
  8. This was highlighted on the old site and I lusted after it for years. I finally found it, bought and listened with expectations way too high. I hated it. Gave it another chance years later and loved it, no idea what younger me was thinking 30 years on from its release and I am giving it another listen, seeing who I agree with at 45, 20 year old me, or 30 year old me. 30 year old me clearly had the better taste as this is fantastic.
  9. One month to go before this is 30 years old. Are there any rumours of a 30th anniversary remastered version or follow up?
  10. What do you usually listen to these days? I've been listening to a lot of regular trance, breakbeat kind of stuff from the early 90s, ambient and still a lot of psychill but more recently I have been getting back in to Goa. After years listening to audio files only, I bought a new CD player I can plug headphones into directly and am revisiting my collection. At 2 albums a night, I might get through my collection in the next 10 years
  11. Always a good ride My brother got me to listen to a load of his Cabin Fever mixes. I would have listened to more if there wasn't so much talking over the music.
  12. I didn't realize that Cosmoon was the same guy as Twisted Travellers He has a compilation of his singles here https://classicgoatrax.bandcamp.com/album/cosmoon-twisted-travellers-single-collection Really curious as Twisted Travellers - Strange Creatures is one of my favourites
  13. Coming up to a year since I watched this and I still think about it. Highly recommended.

    V/A - Black Rhino

Closing in on 30 years now and this still holds up extremely well. Not a bad track here, a great mix that still gets a lot of play time.

  16. How is the new Atmos album?
  17. Last week
  18. I was listening to the new Atmos album on vinyl, then I found my Tokyo Tekno Tribe 1. This summer I was dancing to Masaray at ZNA. It was more of a Masa and Ray Castle set, it was amazing. Of course they played Time Traveller of Trance. But anyway, TTT 1 has Masa Super G and Xembala, great tracks. :)) That lead me to Gonzo Groove, I knew that was going to happen. It's one of my big favorites. And, yes, Masa played it. :))
  19. Some of my purchases over the summer. Atmos new album on vinyl. And of course Younger Brother. :)) Gaida's album from last year. Piimä Kiittämätön - Piimä EP on cassette. :))
  20. Recently watched Bladerunner and Bladerunner 2049 I like 2049 but nothing can beat the original. Maybe it's the Vangelis soundtrack, or maybe it's just the best movie ever. Looking forward to 2099
  21. Do you have a spreadsheet or something with all the genres, sub genres, sub sub genres, sub sub sub genres etc. on it? Would love to fall down that rabbit hole.
  22. Skazi was hated on these boards. So many people hated the fullon revolution and he dragged psytrance into the arena of cheesy Euro Trance. People here hated him because he ruined Psy I quite liked him because he made Euro trance better Love him or hate him, he brought good energy
  23. Ultimae was one of those labels that I blind bought from for years. I have everything until around Cell - Onwards System in 2022 however a lot of the later releases didn't hit me like their old stuff did. I thought at the time what I still think now, not that Ultimae went downhill, but I went downhill. The last 10 years of my life has been a busy old time in this head of mine. Family, work, health, etc. have all blocked me from my natural state of being - relaxed, focused, chilled. Pre-marriage and kids, it was easy to just sit down, put on a CD and sink into it. I could listen to the ambientest of ambient and still appreciate all the nuance. It was, a good time. I'm recently in possession of the occasional span of time where I am being left alone. For this, I bought myself some new headphones, HE100SE, which are renowned for exceptional detail retrieval, and above all for my my purposes, a massive soundstage. I also bought a CD with an amp that'd enough to drive them properly (although they are easy to drive as I didn't want to spend so much money on headphones only to have to spend twice as much again with a monster amp to make them actually work) Anyway, my new set up has given me a new appreciation for music. - the headphones to really sink into the music effortlessly - the CD player to make me choose and album and commit to it So, I feel now is the time to rediscover Ultimae, what albums over the last 10 years (even better if it's pre-2022 as I probably still own it) is the best. What should I play next? Sub question - how are you currently feeling about music? How do you play it? Streaming, digital downloads, CDs still? Vinyl? Cassettes?
  24. Listening to the Techno side of this. Didn't like this (either side) when I first got it but 9 years later I have a new appreciation for it. Imagine Ultimae atmospheres with dub techno rhythms
  25. I love how Flying Rhino evolved their sound. I love the old stuff, the stuff from this era and even the stuff right towards the end. It was all different but all fantastic. This album is a great showpiece. Like the flight series, all the Re:evolutions get a lot of plays at Casa De abasio

    Ambiant Otaku

Happy he's alive, although I never really assumed otherwise, just guessed that he was done with the music scene. Anyway, this album is dreamy spacey goodness and deserves more listens than I actually give it.
