  1. Past hour
  2. Wow this is a really great thread! I have also started exploring Bandcamp in search for PWYW releases to expand my library, and started writing on my blog about my findings. In the first part I share some of my findings, as well as talk about setting up my server to stream music from my PC when I'm outside of home. In part 2 and part 3 I share more of my findings (though I see some have been already covered here). If you're interested, I have a bunch more cool interesting releases, and I will keep sharing them and any new findings on the blog every now and then.
  3. Today
  4. Hey everyone, I'd like to share my latest track "Unity". I've been working on this one for a while and would love to hear what you think. šŸŽ§ Listen on SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/shon-mizrahi/unity Any feedback is welcome — especially from fellow psytrance producers/listeners. Thanks for listening! šŸ™
  5. Something a bit more modern, but better production? It's clean, it's smooth, it's emotional, but that 90s shit was good too man.
  6. Really well made stuff for sure
  7. Water Drums is up next... Wow...loving these through these headphones. Lush, wet, ethereal, everything I bought these for
  8. I was told that the Hifiman HE1000SE would brutally expose poor sources, that any poorly mastered music would be found out instantly with these detail monsters. I was a little worried to listen to some of my older stuff but this sounds fantastic (I am listening to the CD not this YouTube video) really nicely made stuff from 1994
  9. https://databloem.bandcamp.com/album/dimensionata Totally forgot I had this album, I have listened to one of their other albums over and over for years, but this is just as good, no idea why I had forgotten all about it
  10. Yesterday
  11. Selv takk ^^… here’s more; Free give-away alert ā€¼ļø Greetings to our old- and new Experimental fans. Here’s a special treat for you who do not already own it. … something, completely different.. KER's head was and is a big fan of the Canadian Psychedelic Trance project NYSTAGMUS by Matte Gillard and his infamuse epic classical album, ā€˜The Immaculate Perception’… and when discovering his -mostly- unrlsd music archive here on Bandcamp (!), it was found____an experimental EP by his and Grant Baker’s ā€˜Narcolepsy’ project, and more good n’ fun stuff! The 'more' will have been presented over the few weeks here on Kali Earth Records So jau stay tuned on KER’s Cat.# to discover more unreleased material by the people like the very much talented Mr. Matte Danger Gillard, whom you can hear some more from then there here: https://anahatamusic.bandcamp.com/music šŸŽ¼ released August 21, 2021 Harmonica on Track 2 'Hobo Mojo' by Grady (Spoon Bender) Orchard Mastering by Matte Gillard (2006) Paintings / Artwork by Paal H.B. 12. Here is a super obscure track by Ubar Tmar, originally released back in 1998 on the Various – Morning Tracks Volume 2 compilation. It lands somewhere between classic trance and Goa trance. UTM - Stream (1998)
  13. Last week
  14. Looking forward to hearing it 😃
  15. If you’ve got a stack of dusty records or a spare ticket to a festival, what’s the most unconventional trade or meet-up you’d be down for?
  16. I really like it. He always knew how to make proper prog. :)) Favorite track right now is Time Well Spent.
  17. My favourite Enigma album, was maybe one of the first atmospheric "get lost in the music" albums I owned
  18. 怀Just gave this another listen, and the rest of Slipstream
  19. Also out now since a couple of weeks: This is the second one of four single track releases we plan to release this year. Like on almost all of our songs, we combined lead guitar and bass guitar recordings with a range of synthesizers but In contrast to our previous release, this song has a stronger focus on the Psytrance genre. The mood is a little bit smoother with a dreamy and psychedelic soundscape. The title refers to the crazy theory of the physician Max Planck about the things that happened in the first seconds after the big bang. This theory is commonly called the Planck Era or the Planck Epoch. here you can get a free download code for Bandcamp: band.codes getmusic.fm streaming and download links: Amazon Apple Bandcamp Deezer Spotify Youtube
  20. Very curious to hear what the new Atmos album is like
  21. First track on Slipstream One of the most lasting tracks in my collection. Pops up everywhere and I love it šŸ’•
  22. https://boomdevil.com/ This says "New Album Coming Soon" does anyone know I this is recent or super old and never going to happen?
  23. My first experience of Boom Devli was the 2 tracks at the start of Cass' Re:evolution mix: Lonesome & Morph 001 They were great chilled tracks to start the mix and were top class. The next I heard was "Call Her Name" on the chilled side of LIFE Re:evolution II and it was perhaps the track that really got me into the chilled side of music. Flying Rhino Freestyle was not GOA, not Psy, not Psychill or downbeat GOA, it was trippy lounge music and had a lot in common with trip hop, dub, relaxed breaks and cool shit your non-psy friends might like. I was thrilled to get a full album from them and I was not disappointed. The style of each track might not be so cohesive, but everything works together and it flows well enough. Coll trippy beats, nice floating atmospheres, the female vocalist manages to sound both grounded and ethereal at the same time. If you would like a good CD to put on for an after party, or just one to enjoy with your non-psy friends, this is a great album to put on.
  24. I'm surprised that there are so few comments on this album. Definitely one of the best progressive psy albums I have heard. Smooth, driving, cool. I like it a lot.
  25. This was highlighted on the old site and I lusted after it for years. I finally found it, bought and listened with expectations way too high. I hated it. Gave it another chance years later and loved it, no idea what younger me was thinking 30 years on from its release and I am giving it another listen, seeing who I agree with at 45, 20 year old me, or 30 year old me. 30 year old me clearly had the better taste as this is fantastic.
  26. One month to go before this is 30 years old. Are there any rumours of a 30th anniversary remastered version or follow up?
