  1. Today
  2. I like the Astral World the most and the second most Himalaya. I am wondering why they did not repeat the first melody in all tracks in the end, it was their style and typically for 90´s goa trance.
  3. So altough I find Mahadeva underrated, I think that Astral Projection - The Astral World isa real masterpeace just for the year 2025, and not only for the year 2025, but also for the 90s, too.
  4. Astral Projection - Himalaya
  5. I want Astral Projection to read this. You produced an awesome album. You produced an album for me not like another World but like Amen, typically with your bright sounds, just like in Anything is possible. I find it very sad however that the melodies are not repeated a second time in the tracks, just like in Astral World or in Himalaya.
  6. The Astral World - another masterpeace, awesome melodies. I lik it a lot. I think they made a very good album.
  7. Just listening to All Systems Go, very nice just shortly before the middle, very nice track, maybe the best of the whole album. Nice work from those old guys.
  8. Dear Nirmatians, Yzera invites you to get into the groove with her new track, “Spicy Tarantella.” "Spicy Tarantella" is now available on all our platforms: li.sten.to/Yzera
  9. I like the track Himalaya a lot. I did not listen to all tracks yet and I find it very nice. The mastering is very good in my opinion. I can listen to it loud on my Canton GLE 90 speakers.
  10. I wasn't expecting a revolution nor a masterpiece, but more Astral Projection, and that's what I got. My favorites are: Two minutes, The Astral World, Remorse (!), All Systems Go (!), Himalaya and of course the previously released Into the Void. I'm confident this album will grow on many of you.
  11. Maybe I'm too basic or, I don't know its the excitement? maybe? But, to me this is just about as good as i could expect from this album so far. I mean, after Pleiadians album a few years back (Pyramid) my hopes werent so high that old school artists could update their sound without going purely full on. After the first few listens though, it sounds to my ears like the guys have retained their signature sound while updating a bit to modern production levels. Mastering may be a bit squashed but man I think I'm just happy to hear these guys making new stuff at last. Might be just an optimist or I really love AP who knows I guess. Will report back after a few more spins and some different journeys with it!
  12. Yesterday
  13. I heard it today. I enjoyed it quite a lot. In terms of style I feel that this is very much Another World part 2. I don't mind that at all, because I love Another World. Another World is maybe 10 to 15 % better than this, I would say. The acid didn't sound quite as good on this I think. Have to agree on a first listen that the mastering was not to my taste. It sounded like it had a bit too much treble, too thin. Maybe I can play with the EQ a bit. It was still a nice surprise and definitely something I will listen to every so often. I think I like it better than Dancing Galaxy, not sure yet. My favorite track is Into the Void which I loved. 7.8 / 10
  14. listened to the album twice and sadly i don't like it all, and it won't grow on me the melodies are too simple and generic and they dont really evolve i've listenéd to the album on my kef r11 meta speakers, and the mastering and producting is very 'plastic', not organic, not dynamic, just plastic, only for that reason alone, i probably wont listen to it again the artwork is also very bad on the positive side, its still goa trance and not full on and it has a 90's feeling sometimes, and two minutes is made for dancefloors and will certainely work on that setting, but that's it really 5/10
  15. I share the sentiment - it’s nice, atmospheric and nostalgic, but there are no real surprises. Nevertheless, I’m glad to see them back with new music after all these years. What I really dislike is the mastering - everything is so loud, and every sound layer is maxed out in terms of volume. Dynamically, it’s almost flat - just a hard wall of sound - and for me, that ruins the otherwise top-level production. There’s no fidelity. They did the same thing with Goa Classics Remixed. I guess it sounds “better” on (cheap) Bluetooth earbuds and headphones, which most people use. I tried it on both Tidal and Deezer - it sounds the same. Hopefully, the vinyl master will be different.
  16. I just listened to it. sadly none of the tracks really gets my attention. i remember last year they played new tracks to a festival somewhere, and i think it was a kind of tribute to nova festival. that was some veeeeery cool tracks they played, new fresh melodic and surprising. but none of those tracks seem to be on the new album.
  17. Last week
  18. Out now in the EU. Have been silently waiting for years, with managed expectations. I will say, For All Mankind was clearly trying to merge the classic Astral Projection sound with more modern production. I *think* they've nailed this. I will be completely honest and say that the more progressive & full-on-ish stuff of the "Open Society"-era (with tracks that were released, such as Humans Will Play For Robots and more or less unreleased/not officiallyreleased ones such as Dominion, Dunes of Gold and lots of JMJ remixes) were actually some of my favorites due to the time when I got into Psytrance personally, and I still hope that the difficulties of that era can be left behind and those tracks fully released eventually, but I understand that this may never happen, for a variety of reasons. As for For All Mankind, I'll need some time to fully go through it a couple of times, but "For All Mankind" and "Two Minutes" are definitely my personal favorites so far, probably because they remind me of that more modern Open Society-era the most.

  21. Just bought. But it's 3am here to it will have to be a tomorrow listen....or....
  22. What the motherfucking fuck? How glad am I that I am browsing threads from years and years since. I have everything from Gus Till on bandcamp except this which I was completely unaware of, and it was going to be released on FRR before it folded. I think I just came. Instabuy and it's pay what you want....sploosh
  23. Subheim - Approach This is what you're looking for, even if you're not the OP, if you're looking for good expressive not too drone-like ambient, you'll love this
  24. Any new music that comes in at 20 minutes plus? Honestly I love long tracks, as long as the thought has been put in to them, they sound so good.
  25. This is some of the cheesiest stuff Shpongle has done, and that's saying a lot. On my DAP, in the Shpongle folder, this comes on right after AYS? And I generally skip the last track as it's just too cheesy and I don't feel like I am averse to cheese in general but this level of carnival/circus music is just a bit too much
  26. Bluetech had continued to release a lot. Mostly of the Bluetech style and not so much of this style but it's all good. Check it out https://bluetech.bandcamp.com/music
  27. Listening to this for perhaps the first time in a decade and I am wondering "how did I not listen to this for so long?" It's a perfect mix of minimal techno and psychedelia (I was planning to just listen to a little then watch something but I can't stop until I get through the whole album ❤️)
