I think it was meant to be our favorite tracks in 2005, no matter what month they were released :-P. At least I hope that's what it meant. There's way more than 5 individual tracks that I love from 2005, so here's 5 of varying styles.

 

Rinkadink - New Phizzics <- kick'n full-on track (slightly "cheesy")

 

J.Viewz - Feeler <- chillout, very musical, with real sounding instruments.

 

Broken Toy - Slaphead <- insane "cheesy" full-on. This has one the best buildups I've ever heard in my life.

 

Jocid - X Ray Vision <- straight ahead energetic monotonous (melodyless) psytrance track that uses tight rhythms and gritty synths to drive the song.

 

Tranan - Bump <- basic almost house/club style track that drops a simple heavy bass line. I like the texture of the track and it just has an overall kick'n pulse.
