  1. Cant it be described as just psy trance? Because thats what it is actually.
  2. Who wrote that Andrea is producing NEO FULL ON? Are you guys out of your mind or something? Who is making these updates? Not to mention that Arkanoydz is four people and not two.
  3. Yes many times both with albums and compilations.
  4. Yeah they got some tracks with MC FISHY ready already LOL
  5. Ok here are some very interesting info especially for Reger and Ritual Om Like i said to you i received before couple of days a new track by a friend of mine in Italy who happens to be DJ Young so here are its details. The group is called ARKANOYDZ (inspired by the great game Arkanoid) and the members of it are DJ YOUNG from Etnicanet,GIOTTO BINI who has worked in many Etnica tracks most of the times uncredited though,ANDREA RIZZO and CARLO PATERNO both ex members of Pleiadians. The name of the track i received is Space Care and though its not finalised yet i got to admit its a very very good track that sounds like a mix of Etnica/Pleiadians powerfull and faster tunes.Waiting for its final edition and some more tunes in the next days i guess Also Maurizio from Etnica helps in the group when he is in Milan so who knows maybe soon we see a super collaboration in the near future. All the best of luck to all my friends in the land of spaghetti, pizza, lousy football and amazing women.
  6. I told you Mauri is your man hehe.
  7. First of all like Ukiro said Pleiadians/Etnica changed a lot since Carlo and Andrea left from the group.By the way someone send me something yesterday through yousendit.com which if i am not mistaken is new music by Carlo,Andrea and that 'someone' whose name i dont mention till i confirm that the track is what i think it is,its a great tune anyway and i am preety sure you will listen about this new group soon. Secondly the new Pleiadians album is scheudled to be released on the greek based Harmonia Records either by the end of this year or beggining of next year, most tracks are still in production but some of them are ready and i had the chance to hear them in Athens when Pleiadians performed live in one of my events which i organised along with Harmonia Records. The sound is psychedelic trance and certainly not full on the way most people understand the term.If you liked Etnica's Photonic and Pleiadians Asteroids that got released last year then you will also love the album too i guess Last but not least dont try to compare older music with newer releases because even if the new tracks are the best ever produced you will still think that the older releases are classic ones and better for one simple reason, people are connected with music also emotionally something that can never be replaced by any new tune no matter how good it is.For many people IFO album means something more than just a music album, its great memories from parties, friends, lovers, travels and lot more so its impossible to get replaced in these peoples hearts by something new, hope you understand what i mean here
  8. I never exagerate about music
  9. Bring back hairy pussies.-
  10. Ritual Om if you really want to get a track by Etnica then Mauri is your man and not Max,and i say that not because Mauri passes tracks to other people more easily than Max but because Mauri probably knows better than Max where these unreleased tracks are in their studio with all this endless data of tracks and sounds. By the way get ready soon for the new Pleiadians album, all i can say is that its going to be a masterpiece
  11. I dont know about Twisted but for sure Simon hasnt got a problem at all with money
  12. I dont think that its wise to judge an artist by just one track (which by the way we havent heard yet) especially when that artist is Frank E,its not fair for him at all.I know that Frank E releasing on Chemical Crew in your (and mine) eyes is like Hallucinogen releasing on Spliff Music but there is always a good explanation behind everything i guess. I remember Frank E playing couple of Tube tunes in Athens couple of years ago in one of my parties and i was suprised he was playing any israeli stuff at all at that time, seems like things are changing fast in our days. In any case lets wait for the tune to come out and then judge it,if more tunes come out in the future then we can also judge Frank E after the split of original Koxbox/Saikopod. I hope that he will not dissapoint us specially with those hidden collaborations between him,Deedrah,Dino Psaras and Xavier Morell
  13. It was a cd back in 1997 or 1998 which somehow a friend of my brother had left next to my bed with tracks by Man With No Name and Total Eclipse, probably a Dragonfly compilation but i cant remember right now,no need to say i never gave that cd back to the owner and its somewhere lost in my collection hehe.
  14. SVOLK i feel really sorry about you not because i dont aggree with you on your points and ideas but because you have missed the whole meaning of music and you are stuck in a world where things are characterised from their technical aspects, since music for you is mostly entertaiment and digital information you are free to download every single track or song on this planet into your hard disc,no matter how much you will download you will never understand the true meaning of something like music like probably you will never understand the true meaning of a painting (since its only canvas and colours according to your theory) or the meaning of a poem or a book (since its only some ink on a piece of paper). BRANDON noone said that downloading has only bad aspects, depends ofcourse if your collection is a balanced mixed of original cds and mp3s or just a collection of 50000GB in your hard discs. And concerning the industry well i dont think that you should connect it with your wallet cause its like comparing apples with oranges, they are both fruits but they are not the same. Also keep in mind that labels like Blue Room and Spirit Zone closed because of the bad market and even Twisted Records was near its death because of bad sales and distribution. If you think that labels are rich companies then i suggest to you to think things over again ANTIC some wise words in your second paragraph, hope everybody reads them
  15. Freedom of information? Of what information? I thought that music was ART and not any information or just a digital thing that you can have in your pc. Unfortunately some people are so confused and uneducated out there.....
  16. So according to CINOS and CANGREJO words most of the artists out there are just lazy and drug addict people who make shitty music on their spare time and make lot of money out of gigs while getting fucked by their labels who get all the cash in the end. CANGREJO mate i understand that this discussion became to difficult for you to handle (judging by your words which contradict each other on every post you make by first saying that artists shouldnt get payed at all, then admitting that you would better buy a beer for an artist than buy his cd,then admitting that you have never ever bought any beer for any artist, then saying that you would probably send money directly to artists but then again you think twice and say that you are not really sure about it,then saying that artists spend a lot of money on drugs so you wont finance them and bla bla bla...) so i tottally understand why you want to stop responding anymore in this thread. Not to mention the lack of seriousness in your other remarks which include more or less your desire to change the structure of the whole planet in order for you to buy a cd.By the way have you ever thought of moving to China? They havent yet moved completely to capitalism so you might enjoy some time there with the communists left. CINOS mate it seems to me that you also run out of some usefull things to say so i guess you should follow CANGREJO example and stop replying in this thread P.S REGER trust me the problem with mp3s and downloading hasnt got to do anything with people that want to download 4 and 5 years old releases which more or less are not still available for sale, the main discussion here moves around people who download all the latest releases and even promos from cds that are not out in the market yet but somehow end up on various ftps and P2P programs.
  17. The only thing that i can say is that Gabriel will not dissapoint you with another full on come back like many great artists of the past are doing in our days. His album will be 100% psychedelic trance including also some more progressive tunes and ofcourse some ambient stuff,i wish i could share his new stuff with you but i guess you have to wait a little bit.
  18. I always knew that Plato was a fan of my label LOL Great quote indeed Basilisk which in fact summarises all my words (more or less) in this thread concerning the mp3 issue, those ancient Greek philosophers were wise indeed unlike the modern Greek society unfortunately. Nice one indeed.
  19. Dear BASILISK despite the fact that i am a fan of the Megaman series and that i appreciate a lot your good words towards my label and the fact that you purchased most of my releases i got to disaggree with you on the stealing and downloading issue hope that this wont make you cancel your Grey Area order So though you described really well the term piracy (which doesnt have a lot to do with our small scene since i dont think that many people make copies of psy trance music and sell it through the net or on the streets) i got to disaggree with you on the downloading issue. For me there is legal and illegal downloading and although their is a lot of debating taking place all around the globe concerning this issue and even the laws dont exactly specify whats going on (since technology moves faster than the law system in our days) i still insist and think that people more or less know whats going on and they just act according to how they understand or they want to understand things. Characterising illegal downloading as stealing might sound really bad but it is an illegal action indeed. Some people might not think that stealing a car and downloading illegaly an mp3 is the same thing but for me both actions are stealing something from someone with the only difference that a car is something physical while an mp3 is just a file on the internet. This is exactly where things get complicated and where the debate begins,so while you believe that downloading illegaly an mp3 is just downloading i on the other side believe that this is a theft, the funny thing is that we both can come up with a million of explanations to support our thesis simply because like i said before technology moves faster than the human law and even human understanding i dare to say. So like wisely you said labels and the industry has to adjust on this new data but also the people got to adopt a different attitude towards music because i am afraid that a precious art like music has became in our days 'another queued mp3 file on download accelerator'.YES the labels got to change BUT also the people got to change too. Thats all i had to say for tonight i guess, time to get back to my ship and prepare the tracklist for my next compilation plus to finish the deal with Gabriel from Blue Planet Corporation concerning his upcoming album
  20. So dear CANGREJO you just aggreed with me that your problem is not really giving money to businessmen but whether you can get their goods without paying for them or not.So you still buy products from lets say Sony and Intel and Nike (because like you said your life wouldnt be like you wanted to if you didnt) because you dont have a choice with them BUT you download your music instead of buying it just because you got the chance to do it since its easy and cheap to get an internet line and download anything you want plus there is almost zero risk of getting caught. You got a point when you indirectly admit that its easier to download an mp3 than stealing a Sony television set (just because you cant download it) from an electronics store BUT THE MAJOR IDEA OF YOU STEALING SOMETHING REMAINS THE SAME MATE AND THAT EITHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT (AND EVEN IF YOU CARE OR NOT) MAKES YOU A THIEF. I know that this might sound bad but sorry mate this is the truth. Now concerning labels and artists they both work really hard and they both deserve lot more of money and attention than they get.And trust me you dont have a clue how hard it is to operate a label mate otherwise you wouldnt say that 'artists work lot harder than the labels but still make less money from them'.You are just speculating here my friend. And please dont tell me that you are going to send any money to any artist out there, you didnt even bought a beer for any of them so far like you admitted in one of your earlier posts Seems like you dont value correctly the things that you like my friend, just spend some time and think things over
  21. Dear CANGREJO i dont know your financial situation but you also dont know any artists financial situation, you can guess for sure but you will never know.So you might think that buying an original album is a major blow for your economic plan but when many people think like you and they download instead of buying originals then this is a major blow too for the economic plan of both the labels and artists, labels because they loose sales and artists because they loose royalties and because since cds dont sell so much they also wont get too much money for their tracks. We all belong in the same food chain and our actions affect all of us. Now concerning the labels first of all i got to ask you to not put on the same level psy trance labels that sell 1500-2000 copies in average and labels from the rock, pop, rap scene and even major dance labels like Global Underground or Black Hole. These big labels sell thousands and millions of records each year and 2000 copies which is the average psy trance sales for a good label is just their promo list for a single release.Psy trance is a small scene with few listeners and i can characterise it as an underground music. Secondly saying that 'labels eat the artists money' is something to general to say.I personally dont owe money to any artists i have work with,on the other hand many of them owe me an invoice for the money they received. The same applies for every serious label around.Just because shit labels like Spliff Music or USTA rip off their young artists this doesnt mean that every label works like that,if you fuck your artists then you can never grow bigger in this scene or build a good reputation.Have you ever heard any bad words concerning artists money for respectable labels like Twisted Records,TIP World,Alchemy Records,Nano Records,Hommega Productions,Digital Structures or Iboga just to name a few?And its not just big and respectable labels that work like this also smaller and younger labels like mine (Exposure Productions) or Harmonia Records or Tribal Vision work very profesionally trying to evolve and keep their good reputation. So please dont generalise too much cause its not fair for all of us that try to work in good faith Last but not least what i meant with the Sony,Intel and Nike example is that while you own one or more of their products in your house you said that you refuse to give money to businessmen (reffering to people owning and operating labels) like label owners are businessmen while the people who own Sony,Intel and Nike are not.Hope you understand my point which in fact is that you give your money to Sony businessmen because you cant download a new television set or new soundsystem but you refuse to give your money to psy trance labels businessmen not because they are businessmen BUT BECAUSE YOU JUST HAVE THE OPTION TO DOWNLOAD THEIR PRODUCT FOR FREE FROM THE NET.Hope i was clear By the way dont drink so much and buy a beer for your favorite artist the next time you see him,he will be very happy by your action and will appreciate it a lot. LE LOTUS BLEU i am at the moment considering a contract offer by the biggest digital distribution company around which ofcourse is a partner of iTunes.Probably in the next couple of months my releases will also be available through all major digital stores CINOS you still insist on ignoring the major role of labels in our small scene, well i cant help you with that,my points are clear concerning the labels in my previous posts which you obviously didnt read or just ignored.Labels are not here just to make money because simply there are not a lot of money to be made out of psy trance.Just like someone once said 'the fastest way to become a millionaire is to be a billionaire and open a trance label' By the way Saikosounds offers you 4 minutes demos on every track of every new release so you can choose which labels you want to support because they offer you good music and which labels you want to ignore. GOAZZZZ the original sentence for my friend was 12 months in jail and 1300 euros fine which in the second trial (efeteio) fall to 8 months in jail and 1300 euros fine.Ofcourse he had the option to pay for his whole sentence.I dont know who his lawyer was though thats easy for me to find out but i wouldnt like to share in public such private information for reasons you can easily understand. Some things i can tell you though is that my friend was 17 years old when he was convicted so he got a 'light punishment' because of his age and also something very interesting that you might want to know is the fact that when he tried to release a track in a greek company for a trance compilation the AEPI organisation send a paper to the label and the printing factory which stated that this person cant release any music in Greece because of his conviction for the possesion of the illegal mp3 files, interesting huh?
  22. DMTREE i am just joking with all those new names and styles that suddenly appear lately just in case you didnt notice it
  23. LE LOTUS BLEU my point was to prove to people that internet users who download my compilations through ftp servers or using other P2P programs are acting illegaly against my label (i just use myself as an example but i am reffering to all labels),i had to say all these things because some people think that downloading from an ftp server a compilation is not illegal, hope all is clear on that issue.Ofcourse in some countries the laws on the issue are more complicated but more or less it is illegal to download a cd from the internet in most of the worlds countries. Now concerning my actions against them.First of all my main point in this whole topic is not to stop people from downloading music, this is impossible i guess.Like i have said many times in this topic though what i am trying to make people understand is that they must keep a balance between buying originals and downloading mp3s,this is my main goal in this topic and hope that some people will get touched by my words. I dont think that even if i wanted to sue people who download my music it would be possible to do it.First of all i have no way of knowing who is downloading my releases and who buys them in original and like you said its not easy and wise in terms of money to start making lawsuits against people all around the world. By the way the government has the right to get the personal information of every internet user around the globe from his internet provider when that user is suspected to be involved in any kind of illegal actions using his pc and internet from abusing other users on the internet to illegal downloading or software programs sharing or trading. All you need is a citizen or government official accusation and a prosecutor who has the right to access every info about everyone. The same applies for mobile phone accounts. CINOS my friend got convicted of owning illegal mp3 files (which i guess is not as bad as getting caught for illegal sharing) and i have heard many cases where the IRS Force and Mechanical Rights Organisations have invaded clubs and open the cases of various djs and gave them enough of problems when they discovered in their cd cases music that came from illegal sharing, copying or downloading.I can recall a case in Italy where a dj got caught in Rome for owning illegal files in his case and got a very big fine and also another case in UK which you can read in this BBC News link where two people got a big fine two for making files available on the net. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4653662.stm So like you see CINOS things are not as you think they are CANGREJO the middle hands as you refer when speaking about labels are not here just to sell the music but also to do other things like promoting the music, making it available to more people, help the artists get gigs and improve their music and finance them, organise events and a lot more. Are you sure that labels should dissappear?I dont think so. GOAZZZZ my friends case is well over and the sentence is final and already paid and yes it was the first case convincted in Greece like you said.I dont know what else has happened since then though and never heard another case but afterall i am not very much into newspapers and law cases news to know whats going on TRAVELLER you hardly see any good and already established artists speak or complain about anything on the internet and specially on public forums.Just think how many posts you can find on forums by people like Hallucinogen,Prometheus,GMS,Raja Ram,Deedrah,Dino Psaras,Son Kite,Joti,Tristan,Electric Universe,Space Tribe,Astrix,Infected Mushroom,Etnica and more.I mean if all these people got more than 100 posts alltogether on all the forums around the net i will be very suprised, hope you get my point And last but not least CANGREJO you dont want to give your money to businessmen but i guess you own an internet connection and a pc,you own a car or a motorcycle, you have a microwave oven, you got some clothes from big brands and you got a soundsystem in your home.I guess you dont consider Intel,AMD,Asus,Volkswagon,Yamaha,Nike,Adidas,Miele and Sony as 'businessmen' thats why you pay for their products, the fact that you just cant download an Intel Processor or a Miele microwave oven is just a small detail i guess...
  24. Bahamut i have even answered to your post so i dont think you need to repeat youself. Not for me at least.
