I'm not agreeing on that. I'm just saying if what Sherlock says is true, so is that.
But Psytones hits the nail on head as usual.
But upon reading his text close, I see he, too, classes Tiesto as euro. Ever heard of EPIC TRANCE?
And not only your books - but just about everybodys books.
Oh, I noticed that Ishkur the moron has updated his guide... now he puts every trance genre except classic, tribal and psy into the "eurotrance" category. Little does he realize eurotrance is a subgroup itself.
I'd guess it was nobody special, just the same word spreading mouth-to-mouth.
And Goa probably just comes from the land that pretty much invented it: Goa.
And i've said this before, but actually trusting that guide is excessively stupid.
Eurotrance is a sub-genre of normal trance. And there is a clear difference between, say , Tiesto, and Lasgo.
Obviously it was given because the music IS psychedelic. Not necessarily by any CD or comp.
Full On describes the music as well, it's just what people happened to start calling it, I think.
Organic is electronic, but not goa.
However, I've changed my mind about God's Eye... the version with the vocals is good! I have yet to get into the goa version.
About the name:
BPM is the speed of a track, Beats Per Minute as Psytones said. The "Em" of empire doubles as the last M in BPM. It's a fun play on words.
B.P.Mpire you know?
No, no, no. All you mentioned as good are melodic trance. However the names you tell us to avoid ARE eurotrance.
Eurotrance is basically stupided-down club trance.
Tiesto, Armin, Ferry - Melodic.
Lasgo, DJ Sammy, Scooter - Euro
See the difference?
Well basically
The nazis call(ed) their race, the german race, arians, meaning they were "pure". All other races were considered non-humans or bad ones. Or something like that.
Read some history.
No.
Just kidding. 15 £ + 1.4£ postage. I should get it on wednesday or so.
It's funny how all the CDs I'm looking for sooner or later jump into my face. I guess this proves most every CD is possible to find.
