I only buy stuff I like as well, except with some exceptions - like this, being the first goa compliation and all. Otherwise I don't give shit about collectors value.

For example the Gumbo track... I can't avoid comparing it to Hallucinogen. And it's really no match for the tracks off Twisted.

I'm planning to buy that as well just for the history value... too bad the tracks aren't that good.

Early... 2006!? Earlier!

Well I can safely say the music brainwashed me - before I started listening to this music, I felt no urge to do drugs of any kind. Now, roughly 2 years after I want to try them. You do the math.

Let me tell you, this track, which AFAIK only appeared on Juno Reactor's first CD single - Laughing Gas, is utterly incredible. It has a very calm, cold and ethereal melody... I imagine that this is how it must feel for eagles to high over the ground, almost floating on the wind. It's a bit like Jardin De Cecile from Bible Of Dreams, except way better. Why this only appears as a b-side I cannot understand.

Where to they have samples? Oh, and I will never use samples. I make the sounds I need myself, the music is 100% mine and nobody elses.

Some artists very seldom, if ever, use samples... and they are often the best! Juno Reactor for example.

Hah, you're way exaggerating. Half of them? They use some chords in some tracks, that's not half. But I don't get sample usage really... when I make music it's mine from scratch. I even make speech samples by myself. (considering my voice is weird naturally, it's funny as heck to twist and morph)

Juno Reactor - Bible Of Dreams does exactly that - one surrealistic pic for each track. Many non-psy-trance-releases (like BT) do as well.

From where on do they suck? Just curious. Latest album?

Now that there is somethinhg I will buy. (just ordered their Jungle High single, and their single under the Jungle High alias - Fire Of Love!)

I HATE HATE HATE the paper sleeves around the case. The CD's don fit anywhere! It sucks I tell you! Stickers are nice though. A good booklets.
