I write smallish reviews every now and then.
  3. Finally somebody with some sense. But it's not ALL finnish psy, of course. Just what I've heard. (except luomuhappo)
  4. Good. But I'm not buying the whole soundtrack CD for one track - want this on single. Or perhaps a Hallucinogen compliation-singles collection even.
  5. Yup, that's what I need. Any ideas?
  6. Perhaps they have, I don't really care. I like Shpongle but don't like Floyd.
  7. But they're not electronic. (nor do I agree about them being god-fathers of psy)
  8. Sell it on ebay and get rich.
  9. Okay, let's just conclude that I am right, you're wrong, and finnish psy in general is boring. (not monotonous!)
  10. Stop bullying me. I can't help my opinions. X-Dream/TF/Mandlavaladanz tracks just don't hold my interests for even one, even less an album.
  11. OK OK, I will use the word "boring" from now on. It's really that way I feel about all these x-dream-like artists who don't use melodies for the hell of it.
  12. You'd miss a lot. Oh well, it's up to you. Isolate yourself from everybody else, I don't care. Somebody still has trouble discerning between opinons and facts. Idiot.
  13. What part of IMHO don't you understand, Spindrift? IMHO it is indeed boring and monotonous. You can't discuss it!
  14. Haha, that sounds awesome, judging by the samples! I wonder if his previous CD is as good? Going to buy this sooner or later.
  15. This is how it sounds to me. Thanks for the links anyway.
  16. Then clearly we got different definitions on "monotonic". Boring stuff that doesn't catch my attention is monotonic to me. This includes most finnish psy, The Delta and X-Dream. As compared to, say, Transwave, Green Nuns, and Filteria. (plus Juno Reactor, hallucinogen, astral projection, UX, and hell, even Planet BEN) See the difference?
  17. No melodies, no twists = monotonous. Will try Torakka.
  18. I LOVE IT! Seriously, not only is the music great, it also has a weird effect of making me a bit dizzy, like it's pushing my thoughts out of my head... very psychedelic. It creates it's own mood, unlike many other albums. Outer Shpongolia, Levitation Nation, Periscopes, Shmaltz... it's all good. I love the carnival samples, the McKenna samples, all of it. And the vocals in When Shall I Be Free are really good. 9/10 or 10/10, I'll have to listen to it yet some more to decide.
  19. I find it monotonous compared to the kind of music I prefer.
  20. That's also the only good track on it, the rest is so amateurish and cheesy it makes me double over in pain. (IMHO! Don't complain!) And I got that track already.
  21. Yes.
  22. Yes. And boring too. Keep in mind I dislike all stuff that reminds of this.
  23. All I've heard is boring monotonous stuff (it's my opinion!) like Texas Faggott, Mandalavandalz, Highpersonic Whomen... Can't we finns make any MELODIC or varying goa?
  24. I ordered it before it was announced as well and got it yesterday.
