dont know what program youre using, but the reverb tail might come from the end of the song if you rendered it as a loop(putting the tails into the beginning for looping)
It's 15 min till the first of june here, so here is the song: :posford:
It's kind of minimal and silly btw. It uses lots of distortion and filtering so it doesn't sound much like sines
I kinda like the fact that the growls and other sounds aren't that loud, it gives it a spaced out feel. I also like the break. Btw I'd make the stuff after the break progress a bit further if I were you.
i use sendspace the most. it's fast, reliable and has little limits. yousendit deletes the file too soon and rapidshare is annoying with the download limits and waiting and megaupload sucks because you have to get their toolbar in order to get slots.
And that's not all I once had this argument with a 50 cent fan about rappers writing their own lyrics. He claimed 50 cent and all other good rappers buy their lyrics instead of writing them themselves. I hope he was wrong tho
Nah, he just joins factory presets. ok.
Btw the thing sounds very nice, but it would probably be way too slow to use. I'd prefer having a few perfect synths(a perfect fm, a perfect analog and so on)
Ok yay distortion me likes. But do really really big chords count as additive synthesis? And yeah a 5 or 6 min limit would be pretty nice too. Btw is "analog" distortion allowed or do we only allow digital clipping? And yeah a common theme would be nice too. Journey to the center of the earth sounds cool.
I'd say we go for sines and only allow effects that change the sound's volume and unfiltered delay effects. anything that doesn't change the waveform.
should we allow clipping btw
I'm in since i didn't create too many real songs lately and have been more into experimenting with random stuff. So random stuff be it.
I say let's go for the sine thing.
