  1. Hmm I kinda like this. It's pretty interesting(and very good especially considering you probably used synthetic guitars).
  2. Thanks guys. I'll check them out later today. Darkarbiter: I love that album buzzman: I'll check them out but I didn't mean not too minimal but more like harder but still very minimal.
  3. I really(like REALLY) like some (industrial?)techno and psytech but I can't find any. I'm looking for stuff that is harder than most minimal techno but still minimal and very detailed. Examples include: Everything from G+ and Archae & Grovskopa(so yeah It's really not much ) Thanks.
  4. So... I'm currently using Ableton Live and it's missing a few things I would need. I'm looking for a program that allows you to use irregular time signatures and change between them through the song(like making a part in 5/4 and a part in 13/8 without having to insert some empty space to match the bars again) and that allows you to use different divisions of 1/8 notes (like triplets but with five divisions for example). I know FL has that but you have to write the whole song in one setting. And thanks for your help
  5. Its certainly interesting... (the background snarish rythm is preety good as well) and the melodies arent bad but i'd add more sounds if i were you
  6. Yes I have to agree about that(I've heard a few tracks with static recently and they were nothing special because of it.) You'll hear the thing and decide for yourself but i have to get me to finishing it first
  7. Cool I'll send you my track when its done(it includes 11/8, 13/8, drones and radio static) btw SeaWasp I'd love to hear your music (I love 5/4)
  8. Lets see: Midimiliz - Passages The Delta - Send In Send Back Spirallianz - Blast Food X-Dream - Irritant Midimilliz - Antistat Yes I love G+
  9. I like it (especially the fact that the rythm is more than just kick hat clap hat) :posford:
  10. In case you need a really long ambient drone, I'll send you my track when it's finished.
  11. I normally work solo, but i also collaborated with a bass player and i really like what we've made (just two sons and one got lost) It would be best for me if I had a collab project and a solo project. Zalt Water's music is just too me to be made with someone else
  12. http://www.last.fm/user/d123km4_157312/ :posford: I don't think it should be compared to myspace, but it's a really nice page Oh and finding neighbours kinda doesn't work for me but I understand that because my taste is kinda weird :posford:
  13. I love those basslines that midimiliz uses. Its like boing boing boing boing (I think theyre on every second 16th note)
  14. Thanks guys :posford: I thought I only needed a midi cable to connect it so I'll go buy me a cable for the output. edit: ok I bought the cable and plugged it in my line in and now I hear it through my headphones on my computer but I can't record the sound(not with ableton or with my soundcard's recorder)
  15. I recently bought me a Yamaha DX7IID and a soundcard with midi ports. I connected the DX to my PC and the problem is that it only works as a midi controller (I'm using Ableton Live) but when I sequence it, there is no sound on the PC and I can only hear it if I plug my phones into the synth. I was wondering if I need another cable to connect the synth's output with my computer. Btw I tried searching the page and a few DX7 pages and I didn't find any info so sorry if it was asked before. HUGE thanks for the help
  16. oh just sell it then :posford: I wasnt sure if id buy it anyway
  17. I kindof liked u-recken - aquatic serenade :posford:
  18. whoa dude ill get 390€ preety soon so i think i would buy it (but im not entirely sure yet) and i kindof feel bad for taking the dx7 ii d for 300€ instead of a sy77 for 320 and please send photos edit: where do you live
  19. thanks for the answer but i already ordered me a Yamaha DX-7 II D and it was so cheap that I'll have enough money for another synth preety soon so... how much is the microwave? Oh and I'm interested in any type of synthesis really but i'll already have an FM synth and my computer can do the simple stuff
  20. I kindof like the thing and its really good for a first song. I think you shouldn't be trying to make psytrance but you should develop your own style(psychedelic rpg music or something) and work on making something really unique Oh and try to learn how to make your own sounds if you use presets(just see how they are made or somethig). Just my two cents.
  21. Well sorry for opening another thread but I just don't want to buy the wrong thing so here is the question: Should I buy me a ROLAND JV-1080 for 300€ (all the reviews make it seem a bit too good and I would like to know what its bad sides are) or maybe a Yamaha cs1x for 292€ or maybe should I wait to find a good offer on a virus or something like that? I need a synth that is good for experimental sounds, complex drones and some percussion(and other stuff too but these are the most important). These two synths seem like the best buys(from the local online flee market) for the amount of money I have(400€ or less). So... can someone tell me what their good and bad sides are? Oh and btw I'd like to know if the JV-1080's knobs are automatable through midi. Big thanks for the answers edit: btw I also found a yamaha cs2x for 396€
