  1. wait a sec...there is one trance track.. almost gave me tears: Human Blue - Carpe Diem
  2. check the 'Brazilectro' series
  3. And some other parts... but overall it was pretty tiresome... seems to me it's more form than substance...sometimes getting close to cheezy pop tunes... but I'll give it another chance of course.
  4. Manuel Göttsching/Ash Ra Tempel - E2-E4 (59:34) (1981) http://www.discogs.com/release/39247 Quite a "trancey" piece.. don't get hypnotized
  5. If you like My Kingdom also check out Vangelis - Rachel's Song
  6. Juno Reactor - Conquistador I+II Just listened it again. Thought it deserved another mention What a masterpiece.
  7. Pete Namlook & Klaus Schulze - Dark Side of the Moog X Blah, this is nowhere near part IX... I recommend part IX and part IX only... to anyone.
  8. I really wouldn't know... I think it's too complicated and hard to tell who's had the most influence...
  9. Vangelis - Alexander (soundtrack) It's a bit cliche, but still done well. Favorite track so far: Gardens of Delight
  10. Ozric Tentacles - Dance of the Loomi What a great track!! Guitar solo could be much longer..
  11. About Mona Lisa Overdrive: I think the Labyrinth version is a bit messy + I don't like the voices much... and the lead sound sounds not so phat and has unneeded echo. As a whole I like the original version much better. It builds up and holds the tension right up to the climax in the last 2 minutes... my favorite Juno Reactor moment ever... the orchestra, the huuuge conga part and then... BAM!!! the phat synth melody one more time....goosebumps... so much power and energy... so incredibly cool!!
  12. Roland XP-80 (techno + vintage card) + VSti's
  13. Good luck, my study record in the last days is half an hour straight. NP: Man with no name - Floor essence (black light mix) Goatrance with a gabbah kickdrum? I kinda like it
  14. Joris Voorn - Incident kick ass techno this is how I like it, pounding, energetic, 'full on'
  15. Same here. This music doesn't affect me. There's little feeling for melody, structure, atmosphere and subtlety... it's like there's only a mess of sounds, but I don't hear music in it... and that's not from a Shpongle fan (though I generally like them), but from someone who loves tons of ambient/chillout music in general.
  16. Who gives a shit what it's called anyway? All these substyles are so ridiculous. Everybody has their own definitions of styles... most people will agree on most of the music belonging to a certain category, but there will always be different opinions about some of the music.... and when it's hard to label the music, it is often good music in my experience... because it tells that the artist didn't care what style it would fit in and tried to make something original!
  17. And of course the godly Klaus Schulze - Crystal Lake, the finale made me cry once. Also once: Brian Eno - An Ending (Ascent), Enya - May it be and Dvorak 9th symphony part 2.... that's about it. No trance.. that gives me different emotions...like a positive energy rush
  18. Klaus Schulze - Friedrich Nietzsche the incredible intensity and the melodies in the first 10 minutes made me cry
  19. One of my all time favorites in any kind of music. An amazing journey from start to finish. Great sounds, superb melodies, lots of diversity...I love the downtempo/ambient stuff as well as the uptempo tracks... they're all well composed and structured tracks... not boring for a moment. Only production could be better by todays standards. Favorite tracks: Eternal Wheel, Sunscape, Crackerblocks, Erpland, Valley Of A Thousand Thoughts and the ultimate: A GIFT OF WINGS!!!!!
  20. Michael Buble - Feeling Good call me gay, but I like it it's a new daaaaawn it's a new daaaay it's a new liiiiiiife for meeeee
  21. X-Dream - Protoplasm The first goatrance I heard... it was on a german radiostation... "Eins Live mit Pete Blank"... he played it between 'normal' clubmusic. I taped it on cassette and played it a lot... years later I found out about goatrance
  22. nothing wrong with Rotorblade... that title fits the music.. one of JR's best tracks
