Ive been listen lot of minimal music lately, and i fall in love with those noisy highs they use. The things is that i tried to reproduce them, but i get horrible sounds. I dont know how to describe what this guys are doing... but is like white noise.... very crunchy, that get on the track, and then mutates to a high hat... or something. People like Thomas Schumacher, Stephan bodzin or even James Holden are using this..... someone knows how to do it?????

mm... i guess that your bass can sound better i think, more round. add some effects that can do a more liquid effects, like phaser or flangers in little proportions. i use that to make that effect. (well is just a suggestion ). im trying to undestand collin, but still dont get it... what do you mean with "it will sound out of proportion"?... well im addicted to sub basses, i like out of proportioness haha like midi-the delta style .

nice topic, i am doing my live set on ableton an control with my novation. still i had to work on it, but is going. i have and audio card with 8 outs, so i would like to get the signal through a mixer, but i wont do anything with that, i prefere to control all with the remote, and live the mixer only for the sound quality. lets find out if someone have better ideas

hi... i listen your track. and i have some comments. first, the bassline i liked, i remember old times with the delta . i think you can go more depper, make it more and more agressive. second, the track as hole is quite boring, i think you can do it shrter and make more action. you have a lack of hi hats. you need more percussion. the melody isnt bad, but is not good. the sound of it liked. is some kind of retro shit. . and the kick you need to change it, put some more depper kick or more pounding, but the kick you use sound amateur. the idea is good, but you need to keep it interesting. you have the talent mate! go for it.

well...mmm... iguess that is very hard men. i recommend that you tweaksome synth and do it. is very difficult tweak audio, beacuse the key... beacause of the sound, there are many reasons....

it all depends.. i really dont have a good soundcard.. but i know something. you need to know what you want, if you need mic inputs, how many line inputs, how many outputs. Echo gina 3d is a good option, is not expensive and i heard very good reviews. the all m-audio series are very cheap too, but i dont know of the quality, i think that this brand does thing unprofressional, like desbalanced inputs or uotputs. the presonus firepod and firebox are not expensive and they seem good in theory just like the edirol fa66. but i think if you want something really good you have to go for an RME device or justa MOTU,. good luck on everything.

hi everybody, i have some question about bass problems. the thing is: im trying to get the sound of one track, a remix made by the delta, the track is three point turn - thriller (the delta remix). i wanna get the sound of that bass, if someone have some ideas about it, can advise me please take care

well.... i listened your track (the first one), and i have to say, that at first i was surprised in a good way with the "in your face" melodie, but sadly this feeling vanish on one minute of the track... is way to monotone. the sound isnt good... nothing new.. and the drums sounds to much like midi percussions if you know what i mean. comme on!... the same melodie all over the track. look, i love goa but nowdays i listen more techtrance... and many artist use one melodie like a base, but you have to know how to combine, different sounds on the melodie, only the bass, and you know... music is for play with it, not get stucked . sorry mate, but i dont get the feel to hear the second one. hope you dont get mad at me... is just MY opinion.
