one of the Prana albums has been remastered in 2004 if i am not wrong (Geomantik i think) these 2 tracks Lord of the dance could be one of the best tracks ever with a better mastering

as i said in the review section this is minimal techno, which is arguably a bit psychedelic? so yes don't expect trance here. anyway for people who are into techno, this is VERY beautiful, progressive techno. CD2 is not really my thing (ambient), but CD1 is just really nice !

Sorry but no, ... psychedelic yes maybe it is, trance no it's not. It's minimal techno, maybe psychedelic minimal techno, not psytrance even discogs says Minimal, Techno, Dub Techno, Ambient, Field Recording Cocoon recordings... ? german techno label created by Sven Vath. (don't take me wrong, I do like the album, very very beautiful, but i'm saying that for people reading this review and who are not into minimal techno (ok they will listen to the samples anyway )

Back to Bach... aha don't know why, i Like it! There is something addictive about the melody

radi, the track starts at 40:55 as Jisnegro mentionned ; ) ok track, dark, intriguing, well made ... 6/10 next (radi you have to rate before posting a new track, that's the rule, you are not above the rules mate, being a Blenn fan doesn't make you special)

Fav : Modulation, even if it could be even better (last 6 minutes)

the main difference with old school goa in the 90's, people would say "my fav tracks are mahadeva, dancing galaxy, LSD, shamanix, astral warrior, exit eternity..." nowadays people will say "my favourites artists are filteria, mindsphere, e-mantra, ..."

yeah I remember Robert Rich music is nice, haven't listened to him for a very while though. by the way Mathias Grassow produces very interesting ambient, "Bliss" (very minimal) http://www.mathias-grassow.de/ i remember one album, this one http://www.discogs.com/Nautic-Depths-North-Passage/release/1661659 very evil, i can't think of any darker ambient than that, but that's an interesting experience (i would not recommend to anyone though, lots of people might hate it you really have to be in the mood)

which specific track ? i just realised, the track i posted above "ROTATUM "phaze din", is from OOOD, a very underrated track IMO

as we definitely reached times when top quality production is the norm, i'm probably not the only one listening to old school goa/psy from the 90's and sometimes thinking " what a pity the production is "so so" " i start the thread with these 2: chi-ad - eye am the i. All time classic, everybody likes this track, but the mastering could be much better especially the kickdrum and the second is from space tribe, track ultraviolet catastrophe, what a terrible kickdrum, even the samples cut off suddenly, doesn't sound clean at all, too bad this track got huge potential http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxDf5k0MtGA I noticed more and more old school tracks get remastered recently (for example cosmosis 'howling at the moon', massive news!), maybe these tracks will be remastered one day?
