I'm listening to my own album to see what tracks fit with the flow and what tracks don't fit in. (I kinda hop between genres and sometimes do experimental music...)

Ok, now that I take another listen to this track, I think that this track would fit in the Experimental sub-genre of psytrance.

Eh, I do produce music myself and you can do melodies better than me.

How would I improve this track? To me, the drum beat is static and the track itself is repetitive. How do I go about fixing this?

How do I get rid of the compressor? I heard the loudness, but didn't know where it was coming from. I am using a demo of FL Studio 12.

I'll try. For me, I don't have good ideas where a track should end, though. I planned for this one to be short, but it got way too repetitive.

I'm fully aware of my own track being repetitive, but how do I add more variety?

I am wondering on how people can easily spot amature production... Would something like this count as being ameture? (Ex: being predictable, repetitive, etc.)
