  1. I count discrimination as harm as well, agreed. What I wanted to point out was: does a kissing couple threaten you in any way?

My question is: why shouldnt people, kiss, grope or whatever in public? Im just so annoyed by rules that society forces you to follow. Like we would rather burn at 40C in jeans and suits rather than show our skin. If you ask about my boundries, and if it was up to me, Id allow people to walk naked in public. But its not and now Im just ranting and getting sweept of the topic.

All in all, for me nothing is taboo, and I think that you shouldnt take it against people who do kiss in public cause they arent doing anything bad to you. Thats just my opinion, not trying to force it or anything.

  2. I have no way of evaluating this statement unless you tell me what it means to affect someone in a real (or "real") way. I don't see how to extrapolate from these two examples to the myriad of other possible actions that affect people.

What do you consider actual harm?

Yes, that's what I already do, as I said before.

Don't know how to make it more obvious, sorry.
  3. What does it mean to affect someone "in a real way"?

For an example, you have 2 racists out of which the first beats up people of different races when he sees one, besides hating them, while the other only has hatred towards such people. The first affects someone in a "real" way, while the other does not.

I mean, both are real (poor choice of words in my previous post). The first case is relevant, while the other is not. Nobody gives a shit if you hate other races UNLESS you're actually harming them.

Same goes for what I said about public shows of affection. If you have a problem with it while I'm not even touching you, or doing anything to you directly, move away or don't. Doesn't really matter to me as long as you are not interrupting my freedom. I mean the problem that you have with seeing people kissing in public or doing whatever, is your own, you created it for yourself.

  4. I think people have different views of where you should draw the line. I think we can agree hand holding is fine but public sex isn't. At which point does it go from okay to not okay?

Thats the thing, I draw no lines. Moral norms mean nothing to me and that especially goes to other people's problems with me, unless I am affecting them in a real way. For me everything is okay as long as my, or others advances are welcome. Everything is okay if nobody is getting hurt. The whole "sex is exclusively a private thing" is pretty modern.
  5. Public displays of affection annoy me. I get really angry when I notice couples kissing or caressing each other on the train, and looking away doesn't solve it. Just knowing that it's still happening in my vicinity pisses me off, and I find myself periodically glancing back in their direction to see if it's stopped. If I can I'll move to another part of the train.

I hear this so often from people but I really dont get it why would someone get annoyed by this. Its a positive thing and I love seeing people enjoy each other. Its like a glimmer of beauty in this whole blood-bathed shithole of a world.
  6. Sorry for not posting already released tracks, but does this count?

    Oh wow thats crazy!

How about heavy acid albums? Cant think of many. Jeez I would be a lousy dj. Listened to hundreds of albums but cant think of 5 such albums of my head. Cosmosis' Cosmology, Synergy, Retro vols 1 and 2, GNOTRS Rock Bitch Mafia...? What else is there?

  7. People who spell/capitalize abbreviations as words. Especially "Dj" and "Cd" but anything along those lines makes my head hurt.

While we're at abbreviations, it makes me go nuts when I see someone put a period after Dr (doctor). In Serbian Dr. would mean "other" or "second" ("drugi" in Serbian). I see it all the time on name tags in hospitals.

  8. At the moment, THE most annoying thing to me is when I'm in a anatomy practice class with my group, where we use either plastic models of organs, bones etc... or the real thing to learn while our professor talks, and the smart asses in my group start finishing professors sentences to look smart. WHY do they do that? And why is the professor not getting annoyed by this? Instead of focusing on listening what the professor is talking about, all I can think about is punching them in the face...

  9. One of the best goa trance albums with a perfect blend of acid and melody! Quality and creativeness is constant!

    1. CD is the strongest IMO; my favorite being "Psycho Goblins", "X-Indiane" and "Zirrex". Hell all tracks are 10/10, alto the vocals in Tandarinda are really freaking annoying tho! This CD alone is worth the price!

From 2. and 3. cds, I like "Galaxy" and "Saratoga Trips" the most. The idea is the same as in the first cd but it doesnt get old. I listened to all 3 cd's at once when I bought the album and it was a wonderful and throughout interesting experience.

It is a pity that this album isnt well known because it definitely deserves to be! For me this release is even stronger than I.F.O. or Trust In Trance for an instance.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all goa trance lovers! 9.5/10

  10. So, this morning I've seen this video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8LY2VgiikE

...and this is probably the best combination of imagery and music I have seen in a while. Now Ive decided to watch the movie from which the scene's are taken from "The Colour of Pomegranates". But I have a question for those who watched it. Will I be able to interpret the symbolism without being familiar to the time period and the artist?

edit: I misspelled the movie in the title

  11. Well the problem is that most of the old reviewers are gone. Can't talk about other new members, but in my case, who has been listening to psy trance for just over a year now, isnt qualified to make a proper review. I simply dont have the experience to say "listen to this...", "this and that sound are so well composed and mixed", "it reminds me of _______'s style" and so on. And the ones that can make good reviews, mainly the djs here, are busy. Dont know how we can make that better to be honest... Hopefully I'll learn with time :)

  12. Richpa, can we expect more from this artist colab? I really !!!REALLY!!! hope that they will make a sequal, or simply another release. Im still freaking amazed by "The Journey". The other day I was walking to a store and then the 6:00 mark came and I started bashing my fists against my thighs as I walked like a mentally challenged person. I love this thing so much!

  13. I totally agree about Imba being a great guy. Always like reading his input on here on psynews. I too would rate the music with 3 or 3.5/5. Impossible Astronaut and Chloe's thing are the strongest tracks imo but definitely, I enjoyed the whole album.

I am looking forward to his next release. Go Imba! :D

  14. Somebody should do a full review of Imba's "Impossible Astronaut". Downloading the free ep right now, but my technical knowledge of music is next to zero so I dont think my review would serve him justice. :)

  15. A lot of people here say something in lines of "I dont need drugs to feel the music to the fullest". No, of course you dont need it. But it is a whole different experience of music and you are missing it, which is fine if you choose so. Its neither deeper, nor shallower than experiencing it sober, but it is still very different. To every person I love I full heartedly recommend to try a psychedelic drug atleast once in their life. When I finish collage and get a job, I swear Im gonna offer some to my parents!
