  1. Most Goa projects are coming from Croatia but none of them are mentioned. I get you had to mention your label artists, but if you're promoting 'Balkan Goa' scene, leaving out country who gave one of the pioneers of Goa in this part of Balkan, who had first full Goa festival and Croatian artists who are publishing on all relevant Goa labels, Lost Theory festival that held for few year in Croatia is just, well, ignorant. I hope next time you will give proper credit to the Balkan region in more relevant and unbiased perspective :)

Uhm no. You didnt state your opinion, you straight up have thrown an insult. And when you got a valid argument in return you continued to cry about it.

Now, maybe I should ask you if you're high when you are insulting one of the founder of Suntrip Records on a thread called "SUNTRIP updates" because he didnt mention a country that happens to have no S-U-N-T-R-I-P artists. Tbh, I have no idea what kind of response you expected.

Also, the video wasn't about balkan goa scene, but goa scene in general. And as much as it was made to promote goa, it was clearly made to also promote Suntrip. Just think how many other countries got left out and I dont see any of their citizens being butt hurt about it- throwing insults.

  2. Sorry, but can you please find where I said anything about my label or me when I commented this video? This video wasn't about that and I didn't mention Neogoa or myself. Second thing, I asked why Croatia has been left out (since it got (IMO) most of the active artists, it held first Goa trance-only festival (which by the way promoted Suntrip Records and their artists and shitload of Balkan artist), when he gave his view in video about Balkan region. Another thing, Neogoa isn't the only label who has been co-managed in Croatia, Timewarp and Spacedock are also co-managed in Croatia and in none sentence I asked what you said. Also, most of Croatian artists aren't on Neogoa, we even got more artists from Belgium for example.

If Joske feels that presentation of Balkan Goa trance scene and music is better without mentioning Croatia in this Suntrip presentation video, okay, but for me personally it's very narrow and as someone who is involved into Goa trance music and who is from Balkans I think I can share my view and impression of the video itself. If that isn't allowed here on Psynews I will deactivate my account and switch to Neogoa Records official user account and post only in our topics.

Do whatever you want. Anoebis shouldn't even need to explain why he didnt mention Croatia, not even to say that he doesnt have an OBLIGATION to mention anyone. You can share your opinion of course, but if you dont agree or just simply don't get it- back off. Explaining your opinion once is enough. No need to keep repeating your arguments over and over again. Agree to disagree, be done with it and create your own video to promote Croatia's goa scene if you want that so much.
  3. I watched the video 5 times because it made me so freaking happy that goa is rising once more and not once did I think to feel good because my country was mentioned in the video, i didnt even process it in my brain. I don't give a shit, nor should you Richpa. Everybody knows about Croatian artists, Neogoa and you. If you wish you can create your own video (which is actually a great idea. You guys should do that too) and clearly state Croatia instead of bashing on Anoebis for mentioning only his labels arists. This isnt about nationality and who's gonna build a bigger rocket and fly up to the moon first, but a music movement which is for me almost spiritual (Im not high on acid, I swear). You guys who work on music should understand that best.

A truly wonderful video guys. We should all be happy that this is happening.

  4. Let's talk about irrational fear now. I will start of course.

2 months ago, I noticed that youtube was taking down most of the [FULL ALBUM] videos and i lost almost whole playlist I compiled on it. I went to a store, bought a 32gb flash memory drive, pirated what I could pirate (don't look at me like that), downloaded my favorite albums from Ektoplazm and copied them all to the flash drive. The digital albums that I bought I already backed up ofc... Now I have a stick with 20gb of goa trance because I'm afraid the internet is going to get censored or cease to be in general. I know right... Most kids my age store pornography lol

    What is your irrational fear?

  5. There is nothing that puts me in a trance like percussive sounds and a tribal ambient, even more so if it come in a psytrance track. Not many tracks like this come to mind but "Ant Invasion" is obviously a good example of this.

Now, I wish to create a playlist with such tracks but Im struggling with finding them. Post below if you know such a track.

  6. Neo-fascism as I understand it is hatred based on ehnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation etc... so if you're a rascist, you're also a fascist.

"America for americans" huh... almost feels nazi-germanish to me

  7. Redo, you do realise that you're supporting a fascist? "Supporting the veterans?" Why the hell should murderers get any support? People not knowing what to do with themselves so they choose to go to the army and serve the o, great US of A, fighting on continents far away, not even knowing why they are doing it. Yeah I salute them!

How many genocides did your country commit while you all sat there, being proud Americans, wanting more jobs and money not even wondering that the reason why you have none is because your country spends most of it on war? Plus I pretty much understand why they legalized marijuana in most countries. When you think about it, its makes it easier to control a nation of stoners.

If that idiot wins, we're all going to suffer for it.

I am against generalization and I know its wrong, but they make it incredibly hard not to view them as such. I talked with many americans on skype and they all sound like their brains are melting as they try to speak. "Umm yeah like, you know, like totally dude"

Try investing in education, not veterans, wars and building walls to keep hispanians out...

  8. Well I think most of americans are ignorant

This is pretty much it. My best friend went to the US (L.A.) for half a year and told me how miserable, stupid and pathetic most people are. The best thing that happened there (or everywhere) was the anti-culture movement back in the days but they killed it along with who knows how many Koreans and Vietnamese in pointless wars. That nation and its people are a depiction of everything I hate in a human being. Of course its not just the US, but they are definitely the most rotten.

See you down in Arizona Bay

  9. The pro, it is powerfull and massive. The contra, the melodies are forgettable and the tracks have very little storytelling.

But like mentioned here, this has been done before in a better way. Typical neogoa from a mediocre level

Yeah I pretty much agree with this. The tracks are good and entertaining but I dont think Im gonna remember any of them in the morning. The mastering is obviously very good and the artwork is nice. 3/5

Fave track is track 9 "Ultraviolet"

  10. I agree. It is justified but if it was up to me, that animal wouldn't even be in a zoo. Nor any animal at that point. I visited a zoo once when I was a stupid kid but never again...

  11. However, the comparisons with Pleiadians and GNoTR are stretching it

Ohhh I miss understood the start of the sentance so I thought you are the one setting the comparison. Sorry!

The post is then meant for the people actually did the comparison.

  12. Im going to keep spamming comments on this release for a long time. Like the guy on the first page said: THE FUCKING GATE!!!

@14:00 is one of the best moments in goa trance. This album will be forever in my heart.

I really like the rawness, the simple - but effective - old-school production, straightforward arrangements with focus on building & release of energy. It's refreshing to hear "less complex" sound for once, instead of the boiler-plate swirly, ethereal stuff we get usually. However, the comparisons with Pleiadians and GNoTR are stretching it - sure, there are some similar sounds, atmosphere and overal aesthetic, but it's tangibly less evolved than their output. The melodic side of the music is rather simple, with short arpreggios that usually don't go anywhere and rely on repetition to induce trance state - compare that with Pleiadians' genious multi-layered sonic excursions and the gap is clearly there. Likewise, the 303-focus of the music is very welcome, but what's here lacks in creativity, texturing and funkiness of what GNoTR or Somaton/Shakta were putting out back in the days. On the other hand, it's very welcome to see a darker undertones in goa trance: industrial sounds, well-implemented guitars, overall dirty / gritty production reminiscent of Cydonia, Semsis, Menis, SUN Project, etc.

If there isn't much similarities with Pleiadians or GNoTR, why are you comparing the album with them? Pleiadians were great, but not that great that we should compare every single album with theirs. In releases after them, all I see is "Copies pleiadians style but not even close" argument way too often. Lets just rename goa trance to pleiadians trance and be done with it...

It's fine if you gave the album 1 star but I just think we shouldnt say: I rate it ______ because it aint as good as IFO.
