crazy, how an artist with sooo many great old school tracks sold his soul. when pleiadians did the same thing i almost wept. but due to the hard work of draeke he came as an angel of light gettin max and co on the right track again. at least he cast some divine spell on them since we had tetrahedron, live in athens, and soon 3 albums worth of old skool pleiadians. if it wasnt for draeke that never would have happened. he saved their souls as for electric universe i give him a pass cause he has made som wicked awsome fullon without destroying his legacy. shame i cant say the same for talamasca - his last decent album was zodiac and most other stuff on va's. but having the audacity of calling this album Psychedelic Trance is just taking the piss on everyone who adored him back when he was great and REALLY made psychedelic trance. Halloween, Telepathic Atmospheres, The Hunted Becomes The Hunter, Time Simulation, Why Not (most underrated talamasca track), Psychedelic Knights, Leo, and thats just some of his album work. if youre up for a goa stormer; Halloween. Acid climaxes up to here. no, HERE. i wont bother mentioning his va classics tho like Believe but he was an insanely good artist. rip

Im pretty sure ive mentioned this before, but i dont see it in THIS thread so here goes, another SOLID remix that is miles better than the original. The acid climax and the female song when that happens, gooooooosebumbps! And I dont usually like fullon/twilight that much. The epicness starts at about 05:20. But im pretty sure Ive already claimed this track in another thread. My memory is like a goldfish. Seriously, its a medical condition due to my anxiety disorder. :/

Haha. Well. Certain people are geniouses. Then we have people like you. One of a kind. I know people producing tracks JUST in Soundforge.. I have many a .xm and .mod files that I still adore, and I have NO CLUE how they made it so damn good, but they did... as well as you I suppose But I get youre point exactly, and I agree. I dont have any excuses. But there is no sence in denying that having at least SOME equipment (like a pair of monitors) will at least give you a benefit rather than a disadvantage. I guess youre right. But still, having heard all your tracks youve posted, Im having a hard time accepting the fact that I would even be CONSIDERED to be in the same VA as you, imba or nova fractal. Say what now? Nova Fractal just happens to be the nr 1 new school goa producer atm, with artifact303 close tied, or second Vaesna is and up and coming amazing talent. But yeah, ill try my best to do something for the contest, obviously. I just meant, its intimitading to know which you are competeing against, people with studios, real equipment, at least monitors and soundinterfaces.. I dont wanna make excuses ppl can do great stuff with just headphones or computer speakers but heck, there is no need in denying that having a proper DAW (mine is from 2009, using ONE(1) CPU core, and I do not have a real audio interface nor do I have monitors.) For next update: Strings, more "main melody" sampling, maybe some re-arranging, more mixing, more hihat patterns. When and if that day come. For now I hope you enjoy it, even though I hear errors here and there, alot of things bug me, doesnt necessairly mean you hear it the same way i do. So hopefully you'll like it. Or it will be like 99.9% of my other work. yeah, having this mix in full version (im betting its like 15min long) in cd quality would probably be my biggest dream come true when it comes to music because it's my favourite track of all tracks (tied with tangerine dream - love on a real train album version from Risky Business soundtrack, which will definitely play at my funeral) and I shall have it played at my funeral. the original that is. but maybe a tweaked version because it's really the piano after the silence, and then the sad melodies after that, that people would maybe accept. the intro and the extreme melody might make ppl uncomfortable.. anyway, yea, Starkraver, thanks, I'm definitely not stopping making that track. atm I'm having major problems finding the right notes to the aforementioned beautiful and sad melodies of the original version. seems very simple but it is for some reason hard as fuk. I don't even know if the tunes are in a normal octave. they could very well be off key in either direction purposefully. but I'll nail it. if not, I'll have to ask padmapani for help cause that man can find notes for everything. guess my ear isn't as tuned as i would want. after that I'm gonna bring in the piano loop, which is already laid out in notes. those da da, da DA, da da da da da da. haha. well those notes i found almost instantly... anyway its gonna be a long arse track when done! and me and padmapani are working on a collab as well so I have to make time for that too. we aim to either release it freely or via neogoa or time warp or something, so high ambition there, at least on my part. since we only have had one turn each, and it allready sounds amazing, yeah i have big plans for it.. and now the contest! phew I'm gonna have a lot to do, which is exactly what I need. and where there are clear goals when producing, it's a lot more fun and you're more open for inspiration. for example it can go years without me producing anything due to a feeling of lack of meaning or goal. depression and all that. anyway now I have three projects and I'm looking forward to all of them. thanks for the support Starkraver, you and rotwang seems to be my biggest (only?) fans peace man

same question here, as the guy above. I share most of my tracks whether finished or not, for free all over the place, however I deleted my sound cloud and removed most from my Youtube channel . but there is still a good chance some people have mp3s of older versions of tracks, tracks that I might polish and submit. but all those tracks are mastered by me and sound pretty bad anyway, so I reckon it won't be an issue. especially since I will send my submission unmastered. and none of my tracks are out there unmastered. besides, I just might make a new track for the contest anyway but yeah, what the guy above me said.

it has some good stuff, beimg made entirely in reason except two synths, its pretty good. the last part with the sound of silence sample, is discarded, but i chose to use it anyway just so that you'd know it was actually a remix to begin with. but it sounds pretty good i reckon. except the last part of course. which is terrible.

haha i love he is not even saying what ipa is, just linking it. mad props. had me smiling, which is of course a good thing. but yeah, ipa is International Phoenetic Alphabet. So stuff like double S in german (that f like symbol) and stuff like that, is in IPA. I decieded to use simple phoenetic words, that everyone could relate too. but of course, the highly intelligent beeing called Padmapani (which i happen to know has a hard time taking compliments, so... well.. FU? ) had to one-up me and the entire thread. Kudos. and know, that i love you. haha. no homo. that said, i have zero emotions against homosexuals and have zero homophobia, just making it clear, i mean it in a brotherly way, not in a gay way.
