all those good ol artist had their own sound, they were unique.. that was the greatness!! You jump from dimension to dimension when listening to the different artists.. In this new music I cant even figure out who is who!! It really sux! But thanks to twisted crew, and some die-hard goa-trance producers that still lives i have hopes that the scene will not completely loose its spirit! who wants to listen to any soul-less anonumous random mumbo jumbo anyway? Just program a musical "full-on" generator that uses the normal full-on formula and "trusted" patches that u know the people "love". generate some tracks with this generator.. use another generator to create names for each track with "spaced out" cool names.. release 8 of these generated tracks as an album.. Steal a name for the album from a big hollywood blockbuster!! Who will believe that this would sell? I do! and that really sux! cuz there is almost no individuality left in this scene anymore. Reload was original when it came, but this full-on evolution is not! As Amitabhabudda says, this is gonna be a jihad with goa vs full-on! LoL

I heard a pre-version of long long arms before, and this sample that is in the beginning were coming again in the middle and the end!! It felt soo unfinished!! It almost as if they have rushed the track! and thats a bit sad since it had a huge potential! Ok Now in the final release he has edited the stuff a little bit so you can find 2 new samples (about lsd etc. =P) so "Si" did something, but just not enough.. it could have been a rare killer track!! now i think its just above average (cuz the scene sucks nowadays with very rare great releases) cuz the synth stabs, shpongle synth layers, gated choirs and even bassline is quite enjoyable well produced, and it makes me in a good mood!^^ but my fav "New" hallu track is still by far Stimuli remix !! This stuff ownz !! Just imagine a Infinity project in hallucinogen Remixes cd Si should create more energetic crazy goa-influence tracks!

full on is just like a confused kid searching for an identity. it has nothing to do with psychedelic.. and most "hard" stuff is more psychotic than psychedelic.

the sound of long long arms feels for me like a blend of shpongle, hallucinogen and full-on .. only thing i can recognize from joti is the basslines/kick and repetition so that was probably not Si's intention! complain on joti instead did you hear any ful-on @ his other new tracks? no!

why am i the only one who loves long long arms? awesome dance tune! makes u wanna go crazy! only downer is that there should happen more stuffs!

i dunno but i heard from another forum it was from Ella Fitzgerald - How High the Moon .. what really struck me, one day @ work i was listening to the radio and suddenly i heard a tune that both music and the singing was exactly like the shpongle track! i was a bit dissapointed with frisbee after i heard this.. c_c ..

anyone know if simon had permission using the ripped artistsamples (not the sample cds) in frisbee and tea daze?

yes the emotional death of aeris touched me to the bottom of my heart.. never before have i had such strong feelings about a game!! It is indeed one of the best roleplaying games in history!! other good rpg's i recommend is: Suikoden 1 & 2 Chrono cross FFIX

i feel the same way as you! but i still love IX and X .. they are great games!! I look forward to the movie! hope it will have some great music also im glad if i could bring alive those magic gaming-memories once again perhaps XII will be a good game, but i dont have too great hopes. just like what happened with FFVII i wanna be surprised so i dont think so much about future releases!

perhaps he should name the track (hallucinogen cover) or tribute to PACO DE LUCIA or something then it would have been more respectable.. i agree that this and frisbee is a dissapointment.. still simon has talent so i wonder why he stole this... i hope the last track bedtime story in younger brother is simon and not a sample

again what is this about the god talk? all i know he is a good producer that is making good psychedelic music, personally for me! I also said a friend changed his perspective on hallucinogen but psy-music in general after a psychedelic experience! so maybe it was a new world that was open up, but still that is HIS masterpiece.. i started listen to lots of psychedelic music long before i even tried a psychedelic substance. and for me acts like transwave, pleiadians etc. surpasses simon in this "god" status that u are talking about.

I mean that perhaps not everyone that isnt into psychedelic or mind expanding awareness can understand and enjoy the subtle ways of his music! i also believe you dont have to take psychedelics to enjoy it at all... but i believe you have to be receptive. i dont think pop-radio music people can sink into his music that easy! and yes, still there is something called personal taste and opinion, everyone cannot love the same stuff, I am not putting him on a piedestal.. if you have been paying attention to this thread i even said pleiadians had a higher intelligence than of simon when it comes to melodies! I was just stating that his music is more aimed to people with psychedelic minds! be it with drugs or without! i just think it is funny how people judge the music differently after experiencing it a psychedelic. i myself enjoy it without. steve roach or some meditation could be a better choice for more peaceful sessions. personally. What i said about him wanting to make you feel the music as on psychedelics, thats what ive been reading a long time ago in an interview! it is not my own assumption! i believe he has matured very much since that!! and why are you talking about gods? i have never said that he was a god! he looks just like an ordinary human.

maybe simons music is hard to understand if u have not had a psychedelic experience. thats why some people dont get into the mood he is recreating with his music... even Simon himself said in a review he wants to make u feel like u have taken psychedelic drugs in the music !! that the music could be the drug! i remember a friend i played hallucinogen - the lone deranger for .. he listened and listened. and one time he said it was shit! how could one listen to this.. and then some years after he listened on it again at a psychedelic session, and his whole perspective to this music changed, and it is now one of his top 10 albums! what i meant was, maybe you could easier tune into simons intentions with his music if you have ever had some kind of psychedelic experience or altered sense of perception. about this mozart vs posford thing.. just drop it.. this is for the future generation to discuss .. maybe he will be declared after some generations! but what does it matter? genius or not? musical taste and opinion is still subjective.

yes, they are not anymore! do you think etnicas last 3 releases comes close to ifo or family of light? perhaps pleiadians are expressing different kinds of feelings but if u look @ complex structure of pleiadians melodies i believe they are a bit more mature. i agree that simon has better "sound" but melodies is another thing! look at alcyone, Meter, petalec vibes, zeta reticuli, maia, headspin, vimana, electra etc. that is melodic talent!

genius in melodic lines were (!) the maestros pleiadians!! their complex melodies is far superior of simon's ! Simon is more of an pioneer into experimenting with new stuffs/blending styles, awesome electronic engineering, etc. genius!
