Infected Mushroom's IM the Supervisor is quite cheesy but some of the tracks are between average & quite good. I'd hardly call it a worst buy. I tell you, Bamboo Forest's Revival is 100 times worse.

The Amorphous Androgynous - Alice in Ultraland

There is quite a lot of singing and vocals. They stuck vocals into their track 'Duke It!' then just gave it a different name. The album's also short It's worth a listen though if you're open to different styles.

It has some nice moments but was quite disapointing. Not listened to it much since I got it in April.

I think Vocals like that soon become tiresome & instead of setting the mood they ruin the whole track.

My favourite on this album is Overture Huahine. Here is a guy who can use samples well, very twisted sounding!

Definately. It's a cracking tune just got really annoying samples. Not samples that got annoying over time but a sample that ws crap right from the start. I hope Talpa's new stuff will have none.

I agree! People always talk about music sounding dated! It's the same music you loved then, it hasn't changed. I still love the old dragonfly comps and others released around the early 90s, I don't find them dated at all. It's all still good. I don't go in much for names either new school/old school etc I just listen to what I like

Recent tracks from KURO Charm Clutch Yamabikaya I find nice night time dark! All can be found on JP Noir compilation.

I don't mind IMs new stuff (apart from the vocals) but they definately haven't gotten better!
