  1. I was annoyed by the 20 tracks on the last album too. Some people were saying that it was like 3 really long tracks but I can't agree. Some of the tracks are great but just as you are getting into one, it changes. I'm waiting for shpongle to remake that album with 20 proper length tracks.
  2. Painful!! Poptrance really really really... a word is yet to be invented to describe what it is, but it is and really really really at that. Singing shouldn't be allowed in Trance. Just shut your mouths guys, it's easy! I was very dissapointed to see a big picture of skuzzy skazi at a beach bar in enoshima yesterday. Needless to say I didn't go in that place.

I enjoy the album when I listen to it but it doesn't make me want to constantly put it back in the CD player. It's good but not great!
  4. Family of light for me. Fantastic album! Not heard Juggling Alchemist Under the Black Light though.
  5. Seen a few live PA shows in my time. I'm not sure on the terminology but at these shows the artists were creating new (looooooooooong) tracks out of samples on their machines. Some of it was really good & always sounded quite original.
  6. Scorb - Scorb & Mr Perculiar - Mind Dala are 2 I like. Very good fullon!
  7. Kino Oko - Lost Entertainment
  8. That's usually the way it goes for me. Catchy music (even stuff I like straight away) gets quite annoying quickly. I prefer music that takes time to mature on your ears. I quite like astral though especially their SFX tracks. Astral's most recent music has been, ehhhh.... not so good!
  9. Nystagmus - Consciousness sounds just like Infected Mushroom - Shen in the middle. Damn rip off merchants
  10. I enjoyed it straight away. Listening to it again
  11. Not really. The back of the CD says Future Surfacing (What Lies Ahead) 39:23 I think if the track was meant to be hidden they wouldn't say that the last track was 39 minutes but 24 minutes. It's arty farty nonsense for sure. Shame cause I like all the music but 7 minutes or so of silence freaks us out every time. If it was a hidden track, that would still grate on my nerves. With CDs now a hidden track is hardly hidden because the CD doesn't stop. I don't get why they don't just put it as a normal track without filling up the CD with silence.
  12. Musica Divinorum was okay but I never really like anything else.
  13. This is a cool album. It's not the best I've heard but it's quite a different sound from most other psy trance I have. A lot of it is very monotonous & repetitive and it leaves you with a very wide open feeling. I have all the Shaolin Wooden Men albums & this is my favourite. Favourite tracks are Are You Ready To Go?, Rainy Taxi & The Hungry Forest. Check it out!
  14. East of the River Ganges. I didn't really like it at first. (Not really surprising with me.) But over the years I have come to like it more and more. It's such a journey, such a trip! Very beautiful sounds layered on top of really trippy sounds which seem different every time I listen to this. A quality release from Liquid Sound Design again. I'd love to see more conceptual pieces like this. If you haven't already heard this give it a try. If you already have, give it another go
