  1. If I was to move anywhere, I'd likely move back to England. My family are there and I do miss them and would like them to be more involved with my daughter than they can be because they're more suited to it than my in-laws who are Japanese. Father in-law is 70 and still working every day, no day trips with his granddaughter. Even the mother in-law who babysits a lot, doesn't do so with us, only when it's needed because we can't leave her alone. The English countryside is really beautiful and as I get older I need what's in the city less and less. If I could find a job in the countryside it'd be fantastic. The education system is better than Japan which is so bad we can make money as a private educator easily. There's more of a culture of popping round someone's house, or having dinner round a friend's house or a house party that I really miss. I'd be able to feel the football tournaments' atmosphere again, watch at a decent hour and watch decent games live. Immigration wouldn't be a problem as I'm a UK citizen, my wife could get a spousal visa and my daughter is British too. Why don't I go back? I've no idea what I would do job wise. I've paid too much in to the Japanese pension and not enough in to the British one and I can't think what job I'd want or be able to do. My wife doesn't want to move away from her family despite not really getting on with anyone except her mother. My daughter wouldn't grow up bilingual. My wife would speak Japanese to her sure but she's just not that good teaching verbal skills. After 10 months listening to mostly Japanese as I'm at work all day, all the words she knows are English. I have my doubts about my personal safety and that of my family in England. Japan might be a ball ache to work in but it's a relaxing place to live. I know I could pass out drunk in the street and wake up untouched and unrobbed. I wouldn't want to live in any of the dream places, I think I'd get really bored really soon, or it wouldn't live up to expectations. Those places are best for a holiday and as a daydream. Possibly remote would be nice as long as I could get all the living essentials, post and internet.
  2. Cool. I never thought I'd use the streaming service on bandcamp but I've recently started using it and it's quite useful. I like not having to rip the CDs once they arrive too.
  3. You guys are do creative. Really. I wish I had even half your talent. I'm not even good enough to make music as a hobby let alone get other people to want to listen. Respect!
  4. What's the reason you prefer to order from bandcamp? I'm guessing it's the quality of the instant download after the purchase of the CD. I've ordered some CDs before, not suntrip, and the instant download offered lacked the cover embedded or was totally untagged (both flac) bit bandcamp was always perfect
  5. I believe I missed the first one, what was that called? Edit: forget that, I can see it pinned to the top here.

    EURO 2016

Can't you get a screen set up at the festival?
  7. China seems to have its fair share of corruption though, Japan too is basically just an old men's club where government contracts go to friends and safety can be bypassed with a bribe. A few years ago a tunnel collapsed killing a bus load if people. It had passed its safety examination one month earlier but was structurally unsound. The government agency representative burst into tears apologising on TV and all is forgotten a few weeks later. But China and Japan remain economically strong despite corruption. Is Russian corruption just on a wholly different level? Do you at least get the entertainment of ministers being fired for jacking off all day on taxpayers money?
  8. I'd psy to listen to some paytrance It might draw bigger crowds if you had commercial music and free LSD but that might be too scary
  9. Will give e this a try when I've gotten through today's playlist
  10. Lotusika and Owl eyes are especially good. Nice work!
  11. The Japanese often can pronounce L and R but struggle distinguishing between the two and so use them randomly. Leary? Yes really! Same with v/b and soft a/u meaning the most confusing words are rubbish and lavish. They've got no chance.
  12. Flying Rhino Records Pleidians had an EP on FRR and for some reason in my head had more but thinking now they were on Symbiosis records.

    EURO 2016

Italy are my second team also, after having followed Serie A as a boy. Also allows some success too
  14. Very nice. But get my downloading machine open and working.
  15. Bandcamp says it does but labels still encourage people to buy direct so I think they don't get as much. Bandcamp i s definitely best for artists or labels without their own form of distribution, but for bigger labels getting it from the site will get more money to the artist (or labels at least) https://www.suntriprecords.com/product/item/SUNCD41/ CD, Flac or mp3 are all the same price so getting the download you'd only save on postage and packaging costs.
  16. I'm not sure but I think it comes from a quote in Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, Khan says "let them eat static" meaning block communications. I've also heard this sampled in one of the tracks on Prepare Your Spirit.
  17. I bought these recently to replace my broken (sat on) 750s http://www.amazon.com/JVC-KENWOOD-In-Ear-Headphones-HA-FX850/dp/B00I4KPBF2 I've never had a better sounding pair of in ear monitors. These are actually better sounding than most over ear headphones I've tried. I really really love these
  18. I'm actually terrifies of this scenario. I don't wish out loud because of it
  19. Well, at least you have s good soundtrack for it, there's that at least.
  20. I'd recommend you do. It's a reasonable price for 1CD and you get three so even if you have the original there's enough extra here to justify getting it again. For me the live version is the best CD, I don't listen to CD2 as much now as I've listened to the original a lot in the past but CD3 is getting some good listens. The old FRR eps fill up a lot of it
  21. You like the rhyming ones then?
