There is a new Makyo album coming yes?

I am curious how you feel about Shpongle now, 8 months after first hearing the music. Did it grow on you, get dull quickly or just remain the same?

So did you get any of them? I am back in the Databloem/DataObscura mood & have been listening to a lot of their releases recently

Ott - A Shower Of Sparks This is a dubby psychill track from the end of the album Skylon. It has nice chilled beats, warm melodies & not too intrusive melodies. I'm listening to it (and the whole album) to try & see if there is still something left in Ott after the amazing Hallucinogen in Dub album. This is more in the vein of Blumekraft though and while not as good has it's moments & is good for specific moods, happy summer moods!

Yeah, it's pretty good. The second track is a bit too generic fullon but the rest are between decent & good with one great track (Cycles Of Life) np

The first abbassi brothers track was pretty dull. Didn't make me want to listen to anymore anyway.

Speaking of Asura, only the first album for me sounds like Aes Dana. This was when vince was still part of it.

Aes Dana is a strange one, When I listen to Aes Dana I don't feel how unique he is but it is hard to think of similar artists. He msut be pretty unique then ay? Listen to Asura - Code Eternity. Each track is like an Aes Dana album, really ambient parts aswell as upbeat stompy parts. Also try Distant System - Spiral Empire which you may like too.

I think this is more of a grower than WoS so listen to it lots in many different states

I think it's the mental connection that I make with the material product. As I have it (and have paid for it) I give it a lot more time. For example, I just finished reviewing Robert Davies - Shadow Dreams and I think if I had downloaded it I would have found it boring and deleted it but as I had bought it I gave it time and patience which paid off
