    Insomnia

Oh trust me, my heart races like Speedy Gonzales at that evening, but I get like "yeah whatever, just go away panic attacks, stick your willy into jesus"-feeling and then I nod off and wake up in the morning all paralyzed, unable to get out of bed. Day 2 begins... But I do get them every night and sometimes even in the day, they can go on for hours.
  2. Niiice list you got there! Although the hardcore side in me only made me check out the uptempo tracks, but hey.
  3. Shakta, Electric Universe and Astral Projection just bang! That's all I can say ATM.
  4. Don't know about the worst, but I certainly haven't heard anything good coming out of Perplex for example.
  5. Damn, I have to re-update my local music collection again someday, this track just screams to be on it!

    Insomnia

Lol I get them usually when I'm in bed, the funny thing is that they actually help making me sleep better, they drain the energy out of my body and also lower my body temperature (panic attacks that is).
  7. Having a mental conversation with myself in my head that mostly consists out of radical anti-society rants and putting everything what most people consider to be 'the ultimate unbreakable truth' in question.
  8. I was gonna send you a link to Smear Campaign by Hefty Output, but it seemed to be removed, but over here you can hear it in a mix @ 5:00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tyd_50Aej_4 For complete Metal-psy, check out Xenomorph... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKo2PEVMtb4 Edit: There is also Dark Soho, but I'm not really familiar with their work.
  9. Psybreaks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ia9827qjOiE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-1udKAjhqo These are not really perfect examples as I'm quite a stranger to the Psybreaks world, but they are bearable.
  10. Grab a few beers and smoke a spliff... then listen. I personally can't say goodbye to these heavy hard hitting psykicks, they sound like hammers smashing against your skull, totally addictive!

    Insomnia

What's next? Posting "Highway to hell" in a thread where the TS is about to die from cancer or aids?
  13. Electronic music has always been about copying eachother's sounds, melodies and samples. You can come up with the most original and unique melody and you'll still be ripping off some tracks that were made before without having a slight clue of it. There are so many tracks around and every corner of uniqueness and originality has already been explored to hell years before by other producers who have probably ripped off someone else too at that time without knowing it.
  14. I might be completely missing the point here because I don't know how a track can feel Cyberpunk? Industrial influences? Bladerunner samples? Anyway, here are my stabs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McFYOgfMHNc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbcLOY7NGBo

    Insomnia

Nah, this medication stuff just makes your tired, you can feel how you like to, but the side-effects will always be noticable. Adapting to insomnia isn't always done by changing the way you think, there are a couple of energy drinks that help you stay alert during the times you need to be alert (like work), alcohol (which is a bad product in every possible way) helps you feel more relaxed physically and in some cases also give you an energy boost, but i know IT IS bad when you use it to fall asleep, if you're really working on a way to get yourself asleep, AVOID ALCOHOL AND ENERGY DRINKS. But for the times you don't give a shit about it and just enjoy your time being awake, it can be good. Stress is also one of the main causes of insomnia, find the reason why you're having stress and battle it.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHLawUIOSz0 This might be a bit of a cheesy track, but it definitely fits the concept of the thread, acid goa.

    Insomnia

Sometimes insomnia isn't bad, sometimes it's just an alternation in your biorhythms, you'll just sleep less hours than usual, but if you get used to the idea and your tiredness, you'll get used to the insomnia aswell and you'll function the same way you did before your insomnia and in some situations, thinking like this also cures your insomnia, for good. But it differs from person to person, I can't give you an idea how to fix it, because there simply is no fix, every person reacts different to it. But if you're having insomnia and you're worried about it, think about the things you don't have, like cancer or aids, and compare it back to your insomnia and decide for yourselves which is the worse, your choice will be made quickly.
  18. It's no problem, the things that aren't there can still be made, by you or me for example. You just need experience and proper gear, the proper gear you can get and the experience is something you can also learn, even if it takes years or centuries, you'll get there. And besides, there are tons of other genres out there, that sound as sick as this shit or even sound extremely close to it.

    Insomnia

I used to be gigantic insomniac years ago, 3 hours a night at max, for years, got heavy meds for it that completely solved the issue, but also completely sucked all the energy out of me, turning me into a lifeless zombie that sleeps 14 hours a day and gets tired ass hell after only hitting the shower or taking a walk to the nearest bus stop, unable to work, unable to do anything, even unable to listen to music, completely handicapped. So if you ask me what I'd rather have, it'll be the sleepless nights and the bursts of energy and overexcitement that goes with it, at least at that moment I actually felt alive, so that makes me wonder why people actually complain about the fact that you're sleeping a couple of hours less per night than you usually do. I mean at least you are not dead or completely immobile, you can still enjoy the things that you can before, only in a slightly less matter. 90% of the world population has insomnia, maybe I'm chatting complete bull for some people, maybe I have a weird vision of it, maybe I'm completely missing the clue, maybe I'm being totally rude and respectless, but if you can't resolve the lack of sleeping hours, why not focus on something else like finding ways to give yourself enough energy and happiness while you're awake and try to adapt your live to your insomnia instead of adapting your insomnia to your life. If you can't beat it, why fight it?
  20. Thank you for posting this killer track! This is what I consider to be Acidic Goa Trance.
  21. Nice, this is what I'm looking for, thank you for the article.
