  3. Bought three tracks on Beatport.com >> Plump DJs - Acid Hustle (Original Mix) >> Alex Da Basso - Burn (Original Mix) >> Austin Leeds & Terranova - Only You (Elektro Remix) Excellent material. Electro House. For my DJ Set.
  4. I just found this URL somewhere.. but I thought you guys would like it. I found it very cool... not too much of that music going on nowadays I believe.. not even in festivals in Europe or am I mistaken?

  6. Supportive thoughts from most people. A kick in the nuts from someone in the scene. My signature says it all. I admire your courage and wish you all the best. Keep in mind that being a musician is a job. And as any job it require hours and hours of dedication, study, patience. Go big.
  7. This is rad! Very psychedelic in my opinion!
  8. Oh.. thanks, bro! I really appreciate it!
  9. thebadtrip - Yes, I party with no panties, Officer http://www.sendspace.com/file/8voj4r Hi there people... I recorded my 2nd set this Sunday night and I'd like to get some feedback from you. Especially from those who perform (DJs/Musicians). Shoot all the cricitism, but please tell me what went wrong and how to correct it. I am aware of the sorta bad mixing, some beat mismatches, etc along the set, but I'd like to get comments on the progression of the set, the style played, etc. So... anything regarding the set is welcome Thanks and here's the link again My DJ set
  10. There are tons, but I can't think of one just out of the top of my head.
  11. Has anyone checked this one out, yet?
  12. There was a chill out at the festival and it was fabulous. But actually the Chill Out had a lot of 'non-chill' music. A lot of nu-jazz, electro, jazzy house, deep house.. I found it fantastic even though I don't know the name of the artists from the top of my head. I got the brochure back at home with the names.
  13. In Brazil? We got like.. no hippies. The hippies that we got are like.. imported.. or 'fake hippies'.. pseudo-hippies.. Really hard to have a hippie here. The festival was insane. Very nice. Good infra, sound system, camping area, food, artists...
  14. Soo... I came back from work... And the festy was amazing. Came back one day earlier because of work.. For those who said there wasn't enough prog... I got to say there WAS a lot of prog. And it was damn good.
  15. I've been away for a while.. but had to come back to deliver this to you guys! http://www.dibob.com.br/engaubela/dibob.iwish.mpg Infected Mushroom's being played by brazilian teen-pop-punkrock-hardcore band DIBOB In a sort of big music festival I find it cool people are doing covers of trance tunes, but I don't like this cover. Not well done
  16. My Melody -> I liked the violin... too short of a sample (45secs) to review the track. The Pill -> I like this noise.. the noise of something being pushed onto some rough surface.. like if you're trying to twist a solid metal block.. like stretching metal.. so.. sorry.. this short sample sounds alright to me.. I believe it would indeed make people dance in nowadays' dance floors *In Brazil in this case* Yakuxa -> I love piano.. sorry.. It's basically all you hear on the sample.. The Beat -> PROGGIE! A cheesy proggie.. would probably make people dance around 10am after 6-8 hours of a party.. starting a progressive set.. it's a slower track.. very cheesy. It sounds so simple it might make people think it's bad quality.. I can't say much. But I wouldn't mind dancing to it, sipping on a beer and talking to my friends on the dance floor. Conclusion: this doesn't sound NEW... but I believe some of these tracks would perform well at a party. Personal taste should be left aside when criticizing music. haha but I must admit I like the "non- E-Music" parts of the samples: the violins, the pianos, etc heheh BOOOOOOOOOM SHANKAR!
  17. I'll check it out. haha be back in a bit
  18. Hmmmm I sort of confirmed something I was curious about regarding festivals. When I went to Solaris Festival in São Paulo/Brazil (Feb2005) it was too early in my e-music days to comment about it. It was a lot of fun I must say. Yeah, there was diversity in the public attending it.. all the fried ecstasy heads (including you know who.. in a lower level..) bombing on the dance floor during the day.. etc.. Then I went to Sonica and it was a lot of fun.. but very different vibe.. People seemed TOO calm for my taste. Even during what you call commercial full on live acts.. people wouldn't demonstrate so much enthusiasm about what was playing. You could clearly see they were enjoying it, having a good time.. BUT.... then I went to Universo Paralello for New Year's... and I confirmed my expectations... the way brazilian people interact, the dancing style, the friendliness, the bigger smiles... I don't think I'll find such vibe in Europe for example. People here seem to be MUCH more prone to dancing in a faster pace.. reacting to the music, to the crowd's reaction, etc, etc, etc... I'd like traveller to comment on this.. Europe vs Brazilian Festival vibes... If he remembers anything from UP.. haha
  19. Of course I can believe it.. haha I did the same.. You voted for Colours? Great album! Indeed I could have voted for that one, but I checked and figured it was from 2004!
  20. Those vocals without refined tuning.. they're fantastic! It's a mix of sensuality, harshness.. I've seen Breno UNG & Renato Bastos playing this outdoors.. at the beach of Ipanema in Rio.. with the sun setting... 7h30pm.. Sunday.. Finishing the weekend.. IT IS VERY CLASSY... I found out about this song on a D-Nox Mix
  21. hehe as I said.. the problem is the labeling "psy event". Let us call them.. hmmm.. party.. yeah.. party sounds good E-music party!
  22. It's not like there's the bird flu here in Brazil right now, guys....
