  1. You demand tracklists from artists before you go see an artist play at a party/festival? Such a grumpy comment. Very annoying to listen to such complaint when you haven't even used some of your time to listen to the music and give me feedback on my effort to please you with it. Perhaps being kinder next time would make you happier. Just in case: Chris Carrier John Dahlback Presslaboys Sharon Philips Slash Dash Dave DK Bookashade Steve Angello Laid Back Luke Alex Da Basso DJ Tom Trentemoller Look for these artists' music.
  2. Hey there people.. Recorded another set and wanted to get some more feedbacks! I made a few silly mistakes on the mixing part, but overall I am much more pleased with this set. I hope you guys give it a listen and send some comments this way. thebadtrip - Leave my ass alone, mister! - (49Mb, ~52min)
  3. Line Up is out for those going.. If you're into electro house... watch out for brazilian DJ MATERA
  4. Gave it a few more listens and have been enjoying more and more. Good job, FP
  5. I liked it. It is background music for me, but cool background music. I didn't pay much attention to the mixing because, as I said, I put the the set and just let if flow.. I'll give it a few more listens.
  6. Sweet... Since there's some good feedback here I'll try and get the 2 other sets uploaded soon. Thanks for listening, Trolsk
  7. Great! If you're going to give it a few more listens... that's already interesting to hear Thanks, man..
  8. Technically good? Taste is hard to hit on the spot for everyone, right
  9. Agreed. This is music for festival grounds. Not for earbud headphones.
  10. After such divergence of opinions.. I'm looking forward to listening to this album.
  11. Any more downloads? DeathPosture? Basilisk? pr0fane? Tatsu?
  12. Thanks for the kind words. If you have the time I'd would love to hear more in-depth comments after you give it a few more listens.. And I'll bring 2 more sets from my brother for reviews. I made a mistake classifying this as "Chicago House". I uploaded a different file to the host. This is the Deep House set. There are 2 more sets I should be putting online very soon. One of them is pure Chicago House, with lots of breaks, acid elements. Freaky grooves. Another set is a tech house mix. More dance-floor oriente, but with the same elegance. Sensuality and promiscuity in the air. Ibiza-Like with ladies gently biting on their lips while gliding the mega-clubs on 5" high-heels. Glamour! hahhah
  13. Oh, great that you're checking it out. I'd love your comments since you've been on the road for a long time. Thanks, nemo
  14. >> Correction: Deep House set, not "Chicago House". Chicago means jackin´ house, lots of breaks and deep grooves, acid structured, freak house. Touches of tech influence. Based on grooves basically. Sooo... back to what matters .:: Hi there, as I have mentioned before here on Psynews, my brother is a DJ. His name is Marcelo Abreu He plays Deep/Tech/Chicago House which I would say are very elegant house sub genres. In this mix we have basically deep house with lots of pianos, trumpets, clean guitar solos, etc. Touches of jazzy and funky grooves. I'd like you guys to give it a try. Download and listen to the set. This entire set was played at this new restaurant in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, called Miksi with 12" records only. Since this new place is very trendy and cozy the music is supposed to keep the conversations going, low profile. Some kind of a lounge atmosphere. Créme de la créme, cream of the crop, etc, etc, etc for the people who enjoy sophisticated classy tunes. So I kindly introduce you to DJ Marcelo Abreu's Miksi Lounge Session [Live Set @ 02-Jul-06, 1h05min, ~85Mb] URL: http://www.boombass.com.br/set.zip Comments/critics very much appreciated Contacts: djmarceloabreu at gmail dot com Thank you for your time
  15. I'll check this out later for sure
  16. >> When I went last year I went from Rome to VITERBO and in Viterbo you catch the BUS to Capodimonte just from outside of the train station, but you need to buy the bus tickets at the news-stand or a convenience store across this street/avenue.. Off the train station, make a LEFT.. if there are no bus tickets at the newsstand keep going past the newsstand, cross the street and there's a drug/convenience store selling them as well if I'm not mistaken By the way.. When I got to Capodimonte last year I had to walk at least 1km with all my stuff, sort of UP HILL (not steep at all, nothing like the Bulgarian mountains )... Since we took off the bus in the middle of kinda nowhere there weren't no taxis or anything.. Shave your legs and show it off.. perhaps you'll find a ride haha Have fun guys... I'm sure it will be a blast!!
  17. Basic skills indeed! And no maybe to "work on making the transitions more subtle". I am aware of all the mistakes and am already working on fixing them. I'm practicing more and I'll bring another set for your reviews when I sense the fun from listening to it will be greater to you. Again, thanks

  19. Rome is an incredible town... I really suggest, if you haven't yet, you pay it visit! Vatican, Coliseum, Fontana di Trevi.. Campidoglio.. Partenon.. Fantastic! 2-3 days... some nice restaurants, bistros.. And the weather should be pleasant..
  20. As I said.. the track listing above doesn't display the order of the tracks.. those are just the ones played in the set.. And 'yes', the sequence is not so homogeneous... I am still trying to build a more consistent set... This is the second set I have recorded so far and I still lack good music and better mixing skills.. But thank you very much for listening and giving some feedback >> The end, which you said you preferred, has more minimal electro tracks.. Slash Dash - White Horse (Instrumental) Martinez - Shadowboxing (Trentemoller Remix) ... wOOHOO Feed back appreciated, bro!
