  1. I need to revisit Planet BEN's Silver. Sadly not much into most of the other stuff mentioned. The Delta included.
  2. Hope Koxbox's Life Is... video will make it to youtube some day. Peter is apparently still sitting on it.
  3. Paps was never a Goa Trance producer, so why would you draw that connection? EDIT: Giving it a another thought I think I understand where you were going with this. I do however believe that a genre, and the artists that constitutes it, should be judged on it's own merits. Minimal, Tech-Trance etc. is NOT Goa and should therefore not be judged as such. At least that's how I see it...
  4. What would you consider the 10 quintessential Matsuri releases?
  5. No problem mate. Vibes From The Other Side seems to have been a real "gamechanger" back then, being both an influence on Tech-Trance, Minimal and Full On. Anyone who'd care to share some memories?
  6. Horror is such a broad genre, but I see what you're getting at. Take an old classic like Phantasm. There's something totally psychedelic about it. Very otherworldly.
  7. Can this CD still be bought somewhere?
  8. Listening to K.U.R.O.'s Satisfaction has cursed me with a hunger for more. I know "Tech-Trance" is more of a "spectrum" than an actual genre, but that's exactly why I thought it would be a great idea to ask and bunch of connoisseurs like you guys. So here we go: what is generally considered the absolute essentials of the genre?
  9. Because of the shift he made from his early Goa style to becoming one of the pioneers of the "minimal sound".
  10. I doub't he's ever coming back, but a compilation of sorts sure would be nice Ps. Anyone who has an idea of how I could get in contact with Stéphane?
  11. There's always and old classic I haven't seen, so who needs for crappy nu-horror right?
  12. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes...
  13. I've always been interested in morbid images. So yeah, though I rarely watch movies anymore.
  14. That was quite a bit cheaper than my order turned out to be. Strange...
  15. Anyone who knows what kind of gear Takeshi works with today?
  16. Ariel Pink is what I would refer to as "hipster muzak". Mix the key elements of about 10 classic rock/pop bands and there you have it...
