1. Indeed. I've met quite a few people who've read some of the Prog/Minimal threads I started, and found quite a few releases they enjoyed. Which is great. Better late than never.
2. Wasn't Goa music an attempt to combine state of the art technology with ancient tribal culture? Ritual music for modern man. Taking Goa music in a more organic/analogue/traditional direction seems like regression to me, and a betrayal of that original and still valid idea.
3. I'm amazed by the detailed memory of some of you guys. My first real exposure to Goa Trance was through Why Not Records' Destination Goa - The First Chapter comp. Especially a track called Ganesh by Sheyba made a huge impression on me. This was back in 1998. It was only years later that I discovered that the track was made by two danes. It's still one of my favorite Goa tracks. I had heard a tiny bit of Fuel On by Koxbox in the first Pusher movie a couple of years before. But I had no idea who they where or where to get that kind of music at the time.
4. Hope the new Hux Flux album will be better than the last one.
5. Because most listeners just like the artists are waaay too busy spending all that dough on drugs and good times.
6. That's a spot on description of Creamcrop!
7. Good to see that I ain't the only one
8. http://energyflashby...01_archive.html This is a FUCKING GREAT article about the career of Marc Acardipane and his PCP label. Probably the best Techno-related music article I've read in years.

10. Oopie, you say that Manu Le Malin has "some class" only to disregard all the stuff he is known for DJ'ing. Then you go on posting a track that isn't even Hardcore. Something tells me that you have no clue what you're talking about... Agneton, Cenobite Records is the essence of bad taste if you ask me. Can't stand Trancecore. But each to their own of course. I guess they deserve to be mentioned as they represent a unique *cough* style. 2 killer tracks by the guy who invented Hardcore Techno. Marc Acardipane. 11. It's not that I can't appreciate a good melody and a lot of the old Thunderdome stuff is fun to listen to. But it is rather stupid and one-dimensional. Like the Nitzhonot of Hardcore. It's a fun, but short lasting fix:
12. That was a ton of Dutch stuff I don't care too much about, but cool! I used to listen to Neophyte, Endymion and DJ Nosferatu a lot back in the day. But I remember getting Manu's mixes back in the late 90'es. They really changed my perception of the genre. He really managed to transcend the stagnant and formulaic style of the Dutch scene. Together with Deathchant, Rebelscum, Bloody Fist and ISR. That doesn't mean that I can't appreciate a good synth line or whatever, but I prefer stuff like this:
13. I just recently dug out all my old Thunderdome and Industrial Strength CD's. A lot of the Thunderdome releases sound kinda cheesy today, but the ISR releases are still killing it. A lot less commercial sounding than the typical Dutch stuff. I also ventured a little deeper into the underground listening to labels like Deathchant, Rebelscum and Bloody Fist. I love Delta 9, Nasenbluten, Hellfish and The DJ Producer, but my all time favorite Hardcore CD's remain Manu Le Malin's Biomechanik part 1 & 2. Such a unique style of mixing and sound. He really transcended the clichés of Hardcore Techno back in the day. So I'm wondering if anyone knows a good forum where I could gain more knowledge about this genre? 14. My favorite Tech-Trance artist of all time: Cujorius One. This shit rips your face off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SNmKEi1di8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG7ULdVCa7I
15. EXTREMELY cheesy. Sounds more like old Dream Trance than Goa. But I actually like it. It's a great melody. I like the sounds of the synths as well. Not too shabby at all.
16. I'm desperately looking for M-NM copies of these two albums. I'm willing to pay a very good price. I have paypal. Hit me up with a PM in case you'd (reading this) consider parting with them.
17. That's interesting. It wouldn't surprise me actually.
18. The Martian is god fucking awesome. Can't recommend this comp enough: http://www.discogs.com/Martian-LBH-6251876/release/12482
19. I added a few of you as friends on Discogs. Hope you're okay with that. I have only listed my electronic stuff right now. So my collection is really small. http://www.discogs.com/user/GagaISM
20. Noma - Navigator. I like it quite a lot. http://www.discogs.com/Noma-Navigator/release/41101
