  1. I saw him once in Antwerp. He walked right behind me and when I realised who it was he was already gone. For a brief moment I felt like a "boysband teen girl"
  2. You have 2 kinds of psytrance: the one that's made by Simon Posford and everything else. nuff said

  4. Mindfield - Let's get stoned and watch the freaks
  5. Mi-loony-um!!!!!! definately Otherwise, Shamanix perhaps. But the "climax-melody" at the end is too short.
  6. Oh my god oh my god oh my gooood! I'm saving for this beauty. Although I never tried it But it has lots of functions. And the samples I've heard sound really yummie. Keep us updated about this synth... please? About the presets: I've read that they sounds "bad" indeed but that once you start knowing your synth, you'll be very pleased with it sounds and you'll constantly want to save sounds. (Maybe you've read this too hehe )

  8. Take a look at the tracklisting: 03 Full Psychedelic (6:51) 05 Insanity (6:28) 07 Hell In Pain (6:49) 09 Aliens (6:30) 10 Deamons From Hell (8:06) Even I can come up with better names...
  9. 1/ Simon Posford: he's one of the few (imho) whose music is full of emotions 2/ The Chemical Brothers: every album is different and every time they succeed in creating a true masterpiece (except for their last album which I found rather mediocre) Both SP and TCB have their own unique style and they make the music they like and don't follow the masses.
  10. I second that. After listening a few times more, I'm starting to like it more and more but 2 things that still bother me are the delays and the lack of variation. Anyway, you've done a good job. Just keep making music like this.
  11. + Nice long waves. Typical "goa melody" Low bpm - Maybe a bit too much delay => I find this very important. Too monotonous after a while => more variation please Not 1 climax. Too much white noise? I wouldn't say that it sounds like old Hallucinogen stuff because it's really not twisted enough for that. His tracks are constantly moving and changing too. I think your track is too monotonous. And Hallucinogen plays with all the knobs on his synths. It seems like you're only playing with your filters. I could be wrong about this. Conclusion: Nice track but it needs more variation. I'm glad that there are still people who make slow old skool tracks. Thumbs up!
  12. oooooh so cute Congratulations to you and your girlfriend!
  13. @ Journey Man & Slyman604: It's just his way of making music. Making music is about having fun. How you make it doesn't matter. Neither do all the things you do besides that. Why should he be constantly in front of his computer/gear? And how would you react if he says that he did this all the time before he started to make a track for his previous Hallucinogen-albums? Don't be too hard on the man, would you? And what's up with that nipple piercing?

    fullon

Koen, when you started digging (good? ) full on a while ago, you often posted on psychedelic.be that you heard a good full-on track or that a good full on album was released. That made me curious because you like old skool (and so do I) and now it seemed that you liked full on too (me on the other hand didn't like full on at all - still don't like it). So I surfed the web, listened to some samples, didn' like it, listened to it again hoping that I would start to appreciate it, still didn't like it etc etc. Maybe it's just me, but I never heard any difference between what you call good or bad full on. What I'm trying to say here is... crap... I don't even remember it... Oh, this could be it: all full on sucks (or something lite that ) And there's a lot of crappy old skool too. Yeah... uhm... maybe I'm just bored with psytrance. Even the "old skool classics" sound (more or less) the same. I guess it's just too hard for psytrance artists to "break" with those typical structures. Whatever
  18. Not so bad, but I still prefer Celine Dion.
  19. Hi. "Nu skool" doesn't sound bad but it doesn't appeal to me as much as old skool / goa trance / whatever does... I kinda miss those typical cheap, dirty and raw old skool sounds. How do you boys and girls feel about it? Greets.
  20. Does anyone know which synthesizers MWNN or Total Eclipse (especially in "Aliens") use? interesting topic btw
