  1. thanks !! i never tried that site before. shameless promotion is all good altho they dont say what VST they use, the Nord Modular is an cool tool
  2. for me this is the best album of the year. it is worth hearing with headphones on! how often can you say that for psytrance these days?? I never enjoyed Derango before, i always thought it is random sounds, over a boring beat. I waited for the day when they moved to the next plateau... now they are there! With this album it became melodic and complex. Kudos guys!! Can you tell us what you use to produce?? I imagine Reaktor is in the toolbox.
  3. yes they are an excellent combination!! i think the KP2 is the best effects you can get in its price, and the NL2X is relatively cheap too. because the NL has no effects, you can put BPM echos and reverb with the pad, and much more, plus my mixer has echos/filter which are good for sonic mayhem however you should also look at the NL3 and Virus, and many other options before you spend $$$ in a way i would prefer the NL3 over the 2, but my goal now is to own both! im addicted to hardware! hehe!
  4. i love my 800s! i have them on vinyl mode all the time, you can hear some scratching in the middle of the mix but i dont do it alot. the 0.05% pitch is ... unique ... it would be nice to have a .01 or .02 adjustment, but it works fine. it does mean you have to be on your toes while mixing, because any mix over 30-60 seconds usually will have to be fine tuned. what I try to do in that case is have the song im bringing in a bit slower than the one that is playing, and when it goes out of sync, i can speed it up a little to fix it. i would recommend the 200 for best all-around deck, but the sexy solid build and smooth operation of the 800 make it my favorite CDJ

  11. Hi! I am listening to your mixes! I like your selections! Nice work Altho I really recommend you create ID tags for your mp3. You can even put the tracklist inside! I would like to share a mix of mine with you: www.sundrop.ca/chill.html Check out my Deer Park mix! Tripswitch is grrrreat!
  12. are you using Automation? Make sure the "R" button is on your audio channel that you want your panning to playback on. Sometimes it takes a few moments for "R" to activate. Turn on "W" when you want to create the automation with a mouse.
  13. thanks! i will post the tracklist on halloween! but im still hoping someone can figure out what tunes are inside come on guys! a challenge for you
  14. so you spent $22,000 on a headphone system? wow im not judging you, but one could spend that to buy all the equipment and more to make an album like Another World. my favorite Astral album by the way!! the one that converted me into a psy junkie.
  15. its not really that difficult if you have a passion and a familiar VST/synth you need to learn what notes sound good together, then play those notes alot until you make a nice melody. a good reference is Ravens Spiral Guide (search on google!)
  16. i agree good mix!!! what you use to mix?
