hmmm.. agreed, but not 100%. "Ra" began making music in the early 90th. As far as I can see on discogs, Ra's first Goa-Trance release was in 1997. Or are you talking about "Real Goa" as in 1993 and down? Because if thats the case, then you'r a bit closed minded imo. <--- Notice the friendly smile btw. Why don't you check out Phase Phour (PhasePhour) then? And I enjoy it very much that you are giving the music constructive criticism (unlike some others around here)

hehe.. well Eleria, knowing you and your taste a bit. I would really recomend that you check out Ra (Very Goa) and Trold (Very scando in the forest Goa) first. Then if you like that, move on Check out the links: Ra and Trold This goes for you to Spindrift.. And Cinos, Ra is a part of Dimention 5.

For many many years Denmark and Sweden has been the countries in Scandinavia who has taken all of the attention in this scene. I my self find this to be very natural since they are the countries with most and best releases. Of cource, we have always had respected chill/ambient releases such as "Biosphere" and "Subgud" to mentioned a few. But never have we had a list of psytrance artists to "brag" about. But something is happening. There is a slow but good revolution coming to/from Norway, where Norwegians are making a scene. We wanna be heard! We want attention! Well, they are both on Blumenkraft, so I have those allready. I thought you where talking about some new tracks that where unknown by me. E.P::. I think there are lots of tracks that has a 4/4 beat but still are chilled. Of cource, downbeat is a much wider genre in chillin' music. But on DI.fm i hear lots of chillin' 4/4 beat tracks. And as I said, i find many of the psysex tracks to be pumpin' and chillin at the same time. Lot's of other suggestions. But i can't remember them at the moment

OTT? What did I miss? I can't recall him havin' a 4/4 beat track? Shpongle, are you talking about tracks like the track on "The Mystery Of The Thirteen Crystal Skulls" - The Sixth Revelation? And I could name Psysex. Psysex is "in a way" chillin' 4/4 psytrance imo. Very good flow.. No stress (most tracks) Oh yes, Chicane is god when it comes to "chillin" beats. Saltwater is heaven, and the whole album, "Behind The Sun" is a pure xtc masterpiece Why do I have the feeling that i missunderstood the question? did I?

Some where in the year 2000 To make a story short. Me and my best druggie friend desided to check out mushrooms. We ordered mushroom from a danish herb site (They later got closed because of the danish politic). He had also download some tracks on a act that neighter of us had ever heard of before.. Infected Mushroom. hehe, it made sence to test out shroom's with a group named mushroom It was the best experience in my life.. Nothing like all the chemicals i used to chew This was me.. This drug represented me for me. I had found my "thing After that I was hooked on psychedelic everything. Psychedleic Trance was my new music love. I have heard "Destination Goa" ect. before the year 2000, but it never really turned me that much on.. But now.. gimme gimme

When are you great people at psynews going to update the "Goa Reviews" section. (not the forum section, but the main one) I have asked this question many times at other topics, but never any proper answers has been given to me. So I ask you now, "We have now entered the year of 2005, when will it be updated? I want 2004 to be presented as well."

Haven't found any tracks by Yamabikaya, but Ubar Tmar... oh my god, i download some tracks. This is essential masterpieces of psychedelic music. (relax, I buy what I like)

hmmm.. really, interesting. Because I have never ever ever ever been to a forum in my life before i joined isratrance.com, and then I joined psynews (after using the psyreviews for many years). I also stumbled over psyForum.co.uk one day. But I desided that 2 forums was enough. I didnt wanna be to addicet. But I don't wanna give my vote, because i dont think that one is better then the other.

Have you given "Blowfish" and "Prometheus" a changse? Blowfish seemed boring at first, but after a couple of spins in my discman with good headphones, I got addicted. This cd is filled up with great psychedelic particles. Escpecialy the track "Mekong Delta" I had to smile when I heard it.. It has a sample from He-Man.. When his "airscooter" thingy flies or a gun sound.. Cant really recall at the moment. But it is a sound from He-Man. Simon is good (among the best there is), but there are so many others that are equaly good and that deserves some attantion. Very curious about Hallucinogens new sound. He is making a new album now I think. There is a new interview at hallucinogens webpage now. Back to topic: Antichrist of Psy/Goa.... hmmmmm... *thinking* Duvdev and his sidekick Astrix (or the other way around)...? I (hyssj) think Duvdev and Astrix brainwashed Erez to make Plastic Fantastic music ... . . . This is not a 100% serious theary. But who knows?

Well, i got this feeling.. I belive Needles would love "Infected Mushroom - IM The Supervisor" and "Astrix - Artcore" .. But Needles, start off with the albums recomended by Frantic. They are also among my fav. albums If you don't love those albums check out the albums that I belive you will love. They are on the cheezier side of psytrance.

"Psycho" is on "The Gathering" album, not Classical Mushroom And if you have ever heard "Psycho" beeing played at a club with good sound, you will understand why people love it so much. It's a pure power track.
