  1. The first mix of a new project I started with a friend. A 1 hour mix of experimental classical music with touches of ambient and electronica drenched in the world of minimalism. Perfect mix to fall asleep to. Length: 58:11 MP3: 320 kbps Playlist: Intro (Stockhausen on sounds, 1972) Max Richter - Infra 1 Klimek - Milk & Honey Alva Noto + Ryuichi Sakamoto - Logic Moon Machinefabriek - Dauw Christian Fennesz + Ryuichi Sakamoto - Cendre Christian Fennesz + Ryuichi Sakamoto - Haru Chris Clark - Caveman Lament Ø - Heijastuva The Knife - Annie's Box Gas - Königsforst 5 Outro (Stockhausen on sounds, 1972) LISTEN & DOWNLOAD: A Lonely Wayfarer's Guide 0.1
  2. Does anybody know who's track this is at the beginning of the video? The melody is certainly a melody from the breakcore artist Venetian Snares. I think it's from a song of the Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding. Not Sure. So my question is: is this a remix or just a DJ-mix? And who's the artist? Youtube video
  3. Uptempo: 1. VA - Nitzhogoa 2. Ra - To Sirius 3. Khetzal - Corolle 4. Derango - Tumult 5. Crazy Astronaut - Renegade 6. Filteria - Daze of Our Lifes 7. Agneton - Horizon In Your Head 8. E-Mantra - Arcana 9. Infected Mushroom - Classical Mushroom 10. AKD - Progressing For me these are the most innovative albums I've heard. Downtempo: 1. Shpongle - Tales of The Inexperessible 2. Shpongle - Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost 3. Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden 4. Shulman - Endless Rhythms Of The Beatless Heart ... Argh can't even finish this list. I've got to buy all the Ultimae releases one day.
  4. Yeah, cool stuff! This one is nice as well: Burn Studios Audiotool A bit more complicated than the square-music-making-thing though.
  5. My alltime favourite cartoon is Mighty Max! I loved these stories when I was a kid. Unfortunately it already disappeared from the television around 1999 in Belgium.. (I was like 6 years old back then) Luckily my mom recorded every episode on tape so I could watch it all over again. I also loved the cartoons of Tintin
  6. Haha, exactly! You guys have a very good taste in art! Ernst is my favourite surrealist. And William Blake is one of the most interesting figures of the 19th century! Jean Delville is an awesome painter as well. Some of my favourite artists: Odilon Redon Jeff Jordan Tuymans Koen Van den Broek Philip Guston Wonderful romaneque sculpture: (Moissac, France) Charles Burns
  7. The graphic Novel thread! What are your favourite graphic novels? One of my favourites: Black Hole! (By Charles Burns) And X'ed Out by Burns. Can't wait to read the second chapter. Just bought Maus: a graphic novel about the holocaust. A beautiful but sad story.
  8. Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Life In The Trenches Of Hyperspace and some tracks of Derango's Tumult. (Can't choose)
  9. This is just fantastic news!!! You've got my full support. & Boris, you already know I love the album. Certainly recommended!!
  10. I'm afraid I don't have time to listen to the mix right now, but I really like the tracklist! And +1 for the Ephedra track! (And is your profile picture from Monkey Island? Nice one!)
  11. Sounds great guys! Looking forward!
  12. My Newskool top 10 in no particular order: 1. Agneton - De Wereldoverbrugger 2. Merr0w - Citrus Circus 3. Travma - Resurrecting The Dead 4. Astrancer - Tetragrammaton 5. 13. This is my top 10 of albums I own. I don't own all albums, so it's hard for me to say what album is the best. I actually like all Suntrip releases except Radical Distortion - Psychedelic Dreams. 1. Khetzal - Corolle !!! 2. D5 - Transdimensional 3. E-Mantra - Arcana 4. Ra - 9th 5. Energy Waves 6. Merr0w - Born Underwater 7. Temple Of Chaos 8. Filteria - Daze of our lives 9. Opus Iridium 10. Afgin - Astral Experience
  14. For me the most epic tracks out there are Merr0w's Citrus Circus, Jörg On Mushroom's The Messager (4 ) and D5's Psychic Influence. Also New Kind Of World (MFG), The Solar System (Goalien), El Alma De La Tierra (Aurasound), Beyond Control (Ra), Aleira Sky (D-Zager), ... And of course many Greek Uplifting tracks hehe. For example: Loop - Mon Destin, Loop - Brave, Oxydow - Everlasting Love, Chaosstar - Power Of Light, Lennox - Reflections, ...
  15. Yay finally a review! As a Nitzhogoa freak, Protozoa is probably my favourite compilation of the year! Only quality tracks to be found here. Agneton & Goalien did a great job compiling this one! My favourite tracks are Galactic Treatment and De Wereldoverbrugger. The last two minutes of Galactic Treatment are pure bliss. De Wereldoverbrugger is one of the finest pieces of music in the short history of Nitzhogoa IMO. Of course the other tracks are also REALLY good. The sitar melody in the Pharaom track is amazing... I like the feel of the JBC Akardii tune: it sounds a bit like Iceman, but without the cheese. I hope to hear more of this guy in the future. The Goalien track is pure rampage. A totally awesome and aggressive track. Persistent Aura's melodies never stop to amaze me, again a great Räma track (still my favourite Filipe Santos project ), aggressive psychedelic madness with E-Law and a great stomping Vox-track. Yeah.. I can really recommend this compilation!
  16. I also got the compilation thanks to Richpa and it's very good! Richpa did a GREAT job! The quality is equal to a real cd. I've got to listen to it some more times but at the moment my favourite tracks are the Astrancer one and the one from Arronax & Somnesia!
  17. Haha Hij had 't over het NUMMER 'Awel he' van Lapsus. Lees die zin van 'm nog eens opnieuw.
  18. Ow hehe, I see! Thanks! I say it again: wonderful set!
  19. I love it! Wonderful music. Can you tell me what the first track is? Is it a track by Global Communication or is it the name of the track?
  20. Wow, cool! The E-Mantra samples sound nice, but I think they switched up the tracklist? The first track 'Searching Ganesha' has the same melody as Dansul ielelor, while I don't recongnize any Dansul Ielelor elements in Eleusyn's remix. I like Suufi Astrolab's Indian downtempo too.
  21. 604.be (the Belgian goa & psytrance forum) is organising a new year party! Line-up: SCOPE (Lost Theory Records, Eargasm) PSYVADER (Eargasm) AIN-SOPH (Exogenic, Adama Records) PSYBORG Harry aka IRY The location is (near) Leuven.
