  1. Quite a statement from a user who was badmouthing full on just a few posts ago...
  2. Not only is Digweed a world-class DJ, he is also an excellent producer...
  3. What DJ's are you referring to? In fact, the most highly paid DJ's in our scene are also producers.
  4. That's because he demands to be the only act on the lineup.
  5. I have all respect in the world for the artists/producer putting a lot of time and effort into making great music for all of us, and in many cases some artists doesn't get as much respect as they deserve. BUT - where some experienced, high quality, internationally respected DJ's might have problems even getting a decent fee for a gig abroad, I see loads and loads of new Israeli liveacts touring Brazil and Japan after a couple of tracks released on some mediocre compilations. Try to compare it with the house-scene, where you will see a much bigger focus on DJ's. I'm not saying that the house-scene is what we should strive for, and I am not complaining - things are the way they are, but saying that DJ's are more important than producers in todays psytrance scene is simply false.
  6. In the psytrance-scene there is actually A LOT more focus on producers than on DJ's.
  7. As I see it, he's nothing more than a spiritual brand, and certainly not a good DJ. But at the end of the day, people have great time at his parties, and that's what counts. You like him? Fine with me
  8. Iboga Records / Sofa beats Presents the new album by Krusseldorf “Smokers Lounge”. Behind “Krusseldorf” we find the multi talented Swede - Simon Heath. 9. Since you like 12 Moons, Matenda and Human Blue is also recommendable.
  10. And the full album sounds even better than the samples
  11. I'm not quite sure I understand what this topic is about...
  12. I only have good experiences with beatport. I have also bought a few tracks there that turned out to be unmastered versions, but that was clearly mistakes by the labels. Also, one of my friends recently lost his harddrive with all his music. After a short mail-correspondence they gave him access to re-download ALL the tracks he had previously bought, free of charge. Now that's what I call great service
  13. This was posted on Isratrance today: http://forum.isratrance.com/flying-rhino-records-coming-back
  14. In my opinion the best 5 compilations released the last year are (in no particular order): Uncharted (Flow) Nuance (Iboga) New Order (HOMmega) Afterhourz (Groove Zone) Set:7 (Iboga)
  15. Almost all the artists I've met have been cool, down to earth people. There has only been a few exceptions, and I don't think that it would be fair to post on this board - everyone can have a bad day.
  16. I talked with Yannis about it after his gig here in February, and he told me that he didn't even know much about the release himself. He was going to visit Peter Didjital right after the party though, and was going to discuss the matter with him there. A few weeks after, the release was removed from the "upcoming release" schedule on Digital Structures' website... I doubt it'll ever be released.
